(no subject)
i hate to sound like a little kid but today was awsome! i called charles up after work and we went to the globe. sure enough john and peter were there. it felt like the old days. except i couldnt land anything and charles was driving. i didnt let that bother me though. i was just so happy to be out there on my board even if i couldnt do my old tricks. it sucks trying to do stuff that used to come so easily and not being able to do it again....yet. now that the weather is getting better im just going to try to spend as much of my time possible outdoors. that means more running, more skating and surfing in the near future!
ohh and i passed the firefighter physical. hehe first try :-). but i cant rest yet because i still have to pass the medical. i havent herd anything about that yet but im pretty sure everyone else has gotten their notices and already went or is going to go soon. im going to ask the people at randalls island if they think i should inquire about it or wait since im not old enough for the june class anyways. all i know is im stepping up my cardio because i want to get my heart rate down for the medical.
