In The Studio
My xmas present this year was having some studio time...and I've had a hell of a time trying to narrow down just three songs I want to do. I've changed my mind countless times but on the 20th of January I'll be in the studio recording the following;
Bitter (But Better)
A kind of metal song I wrote only a couple of months ago. I've had a lot of fun fleshing it out so I'm looking forward to getting it down.
Into The Light
When I ended up changing bands a few years ago I wrote this song with that in mind. For me it was about leaving behind the stigma of a punk band, one that I never really fulfilled much to their disatisfaction, and starting something new. But it's one that I kind of relate to with life in general, wanting to leave something behind and start fresh.
I Want To See You
A slow gentle song I wrote a few months ago about wanting Sarah, my soulmate, to be the last person I see and feel when I die.
And so there it is :-) I'm still working on lead, vocal harmonies but I'm really pleased with how they're fleshing out so far and cannot fucking wait to get into the studio.
