Today is Louis Birthday. As I was talking to him today, Linda (my boss) walked past my desk. She took the phone from me to wish Louis happy birthday then she said “do you know who this is ??” I could see this nightmare moment unfolding and there was nothing I could do about it. Like when people get into car accidents and they say that everything is happening in slow motion…. She was standing there in front of me saying: “I gave your girlfriend a job and now you don’t know my name ??” god it was horrible… I have been working here for a year and a half I talk about Linda ALL the time. I love her.. she is one of the most important people to me and he can’t THINK OF HER NAME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It just plays into all my insecurities about the relationship. I know relationships are hard work and no is perfect but GOD DAMN … I am tired or reminding him how to be all the time. ……..
