This guy from my office went to Florida this weekend and brought me back some Combos. So now I am having Combos for breakfast. If I lived in the US I would eat them ALL THE TIME !!!!
Our Prime minister was on CNN this weekend. As much as I think he is a chump I was very impressed with his ability to stand his own in the face of irresponsible journalism (Sorry guys but I am about to do some bashing). I only caught a few questions before my anger made me turn off the TV. Esteemed journalist Wolf Blitzer asked the prime minister: “As we know Canada has very lax immigration laws.. What are you doing to ensure that terrorism does not enter the country….. ?" ummmm hello … That is not an objective question that is a judgment disguised as fact. What he should have asked is `what has Canada done to beef up security at boarder crossing since 9/11?’ He then went on to ask the PRIMEMINISTER (of all people) what he is doing about the Hockey lockout, which first of all perpetuates the stereotype that all Canadians live and breath Hockey, two is NOT the prime minister responsibility, can you imagine Bush being asked who his picks are in the Super Bowl, SO IRRELEVANT and three most of the money, players and administration of the NHL is in the US !!!!!!! The whole reason for this salary cap debate is because the NY Rangers get paid more than anyone in the NHL……
Journalists … especially ones who work for CNN have a responsibility to inquire and inform, not impose stereotypes and wrong information.
