Chapter 11
A deadly love
Two days later, late in the evening he was alone again. JaeJoong had only visited him when he had no other choice and when he was visiting him JaeJoong acted rude and not too friendly toward him, as if he was trying to scare him away! He wondered what was happening to JaeJoong and… what was happening to himself? He wasn’t the same anymore, he knew that. He had mood swings all the time, one moment he was angry with JaeJoong and wanted he to shout at the demon master, he wanted to hurt him and already a few minutes later he was deeply in love with the demon master and was he feeling guilty because of his behavior… This all was just… too much for the human boy to handle and he sat down on the floor besides his bed. “Why is this happening to me?” Muttered YunHo and sighed, he wished that his life would have been different and that he would have fallen in love with a normal human and not a… demon. Slowly he placed his hands over his stomach and felt that something had changed, his stomach was harder and he thought that it had grown a little, but that wasn’t possible right? Not after almost three days, that was too early! He wasn’t really a expect about pregnancies but even a fool knew that it would be impossible to see a sign of the pregnancy so soon! “I need to ask it JaeJoong and he will NOT avoid me this time!” Hissed YunHo to himself and felt angry again, he wanted answers and JaeJoong was going to give them to him! So, with a firm look in his eyes, he stood up and left his bedroom, disobeying JaeJoong’s orders to leave his room now that he was pregnant but… why would he care about what JaeJoong had ordered him? He was not here to watch over him, he had left YunHo alone here!
But the first thing he saw when he had left his room was that… there were no demons around him, not even to watch over him, the whole hallway was empty and that was strange! Even the shadows seemed to be empty, there were no soft whispers all around him and he didn’t saw anything moving inside the darkness around him. Hmm, that was… unusual… He stood still in the middle of the hallway, staring around him and frowned, he tried to think of a way to find JaeJoong and realized when he looked around him that the shadows on some places were darker than on other places and… maybe he could find JaeJoong there were the shadows where the darkest! Hmm, he wanted to see why JaeJoong had no time for him and why he was so mean all the time, was he hiding something from him and so yes, what was the demon master hiding from him? He smiled sneaky while he started to walk and followed the shadows, farther and farther into the palace, end eventually when the shadows were so dark that he almost couldn’t see anything he realized that he had found the place where JaeJoong was and besides him all the other demons in the palace! He had trouble with finding his way further because it was just too dark for his human eyes to see properly, even the ring wasn’t giving him some super eye sight! But he just knew that the demon master was nearby, he knew it because he felt connected to JaeJoong, since he was pregnant he was feeling JaeJoong’s prescience always, it was just impossible now for the demon master to hide himself for YunHo, simply because YunHo always knew it when they were close besides each other!
And now at that moment he knew that JaeJoong was somewhere close besides him, he only couldn’t see him! Frustrated he narrowed his eyes and started to walk more careful than before while he tried to adjust to his surroundings, but it was hard to find his way. He never had really walked around in this palace, not alone anyway and he didn’t knew this part of JaeJoong’s home. His outstretched hands touched a wall and a few meters to the left he felt a door handle, he was standing before a door! Was JaeJoong behind that closes door? He knew that he needed to look but… what would happen if he wasn’t alone there and if his demons were with him? He trusted JaeJoong enough to know that he had ordered his demons to keep him safe but… demons weren’t really trustworthy to be with so… he hesitated, he knew that the ring had made him stronger and maybe a little foolishly but… absolutely not strong enough to defend himself against all the demons who could be there, even one of the weakest demon was too strong for him if they wanted to attack him! But, his curiosity got the better of him and he opened careful the door and tried to look what was happening inside and if JaeJoong was there. And yes… He felt the presence from the demon master almost immediately when he had opened the door, he could even SMELL the demon master! He was here and he was… angry! He felt that JaeJoong was so angry that he could kill somebody and that was not really a good sign…
It was still too dark in the room for him to see anything so he didn’t knew where JaeJoong was in the room and with how much demons he was there. YunHo heard how a few demons were hissing and growling at each other and he realized that there were really a LOT demons inside the dark room! “Let this be lesson for you all, disobey me and die!” Hissed JaeJoong with his demonic voice and a few seconds later YunHo heard how a demon made a sickening dying sound, the demon was suffering and JaeJoong was doing it to the demon! “Why would we listen to you, you are weakening because of that miserable human you hare hiding inside of his room! Kill the human or die yourself! We aren’t following a weak leader!” growled another demon, ignoring the dying sounds of the other demon. Totally shocked YunHo stiffened, he wasn’t prepared to hear something like this, JaeJoong was a demon master and now he was… in trouble! Because of him! He hesitated and didn’t knew what he needed to do now, but just at that moment, when he was totally panicking he felt that his ring started to head up again and that could only mean one thing and that was that the ring was affecting him again! But… it was different this time, the ring felt warmer than normal and he knew that the ring was stronger now, the ring was making HIM stronger now! He wasn’t really sure if that was a good thing and if the ring was helping him now, he didn’t wanted to be reckless and do stupid things to get himself in danger again, but he knew better now and he knew that he couldn’t fight against the power of the ring…
He felt… angry and not because of JaeJoong this time but because of the demons who were disrespecting HIS JaeJoong, ONLY HE was allowed to disobey JaeJoong and to argue with him and not those STUPID demons! He clenched his fists and SLAMMED the door further open, not caring about the fact that the room was too dark for him to see what was happening around him and absolutely NOT caring about the fact that there were probably more than hundred demons inside the room, no… he didn’t cared about anything besides the fact that they were disrespecting HIS JaeJoong and he wanted to do something to stop them! He heard how all the demons around him started to growl and to hiss, he sensed that a few of them were moving around him, in a attempt to corner him in, hoping that they could attack him if they had the chance! “DON’T YOUCH HIM!” Shouted JaeJoong angry and within a few seconds he felt how JaeJoong appeared besides him, grabbing him by his arm and he felt how the demon master pulled him against his own body in a attempt to keep him safe in the presence of all the demons around them. He clapped in his hands and a few candles caught fire, illuminating the room. He saw that he was standing in a really large room, the room was big enough for more than five hundred humans! Maybe this was supposed to be a ballroom, but… YunHo shook his head, this wasn’t the time to think about stupid things like where JaeJoong could use this room for and he lifted his chin arrogantly to let all the demons know that he wasn’t afraid of them, no, he didn’t wanted to look weak or somebody who could get killed easy, like he was one of their preys.
He saw that JaeJoong was angry and that all the demons around them were watching them, some of them looked really angry with JaeJoong because he was protecting YunHo and others were just looking careful at them but he knew one thing for sure and that was that… they all seemed to NOT like him and that they were pissed with JaeJoong! He knew at that moment that he needed to do something to help JaeJoong, to make him stronger again and he knew that he needed to do it fast! JaeJoong was in danger because the ring had weakened him and he knew that if he didn’t helped the demon master they both would be in trouble or maybe worse, he would be tortured until he would have died a really painful death and JaeJoong would become a slave himself! He also didn’t knew exactly what was going to happen when he was going to help the demon master, but he knew that ring was giving him instructions, the ring was working really hard to connect YunHo to the demon master and because of the connection he knew what to do now. One of the demons who had tried to disobey JaeJoong still lied on the ground besides them, alive but weak and not able to move, he was probably waiting for his death… Without thinking about the danger he… grabbed the knife JaeJoong always wore with him, the knife what was poisoned and cursed to kill everybody who dared it to touch the knife and to use it, besides JaeJoong of course and smiled arrogantly at the demons around him… But, YunHo didn’t knew that the knife was dangerous and that any other person would have died a really terrible dead, but… YunHo wasn’t a normal person and he was connected to the demon master! The ring was now working really hard and he… was safe for the knife, he could touch everything what was made for JaeJoong, just because he was one with him and because he was carrying JaeJoong’s child!
He saw the shocked look in JaeJoong’s eyes when he had grabbed the knife, he saw that JaeJoong tried to took the knife away from him but… strangely he was faster than the demon master and walked toward the pathetic demon who lied on the ground. “Don’t worry, I’m not in danger” spoke YunHo out loud with a cold tone in his voice, he knew that it was foolish to do this again without the help from the ring and… His lips curled up in a half smile, JaeJoong had sounded worried about him when he had touched the knife! He saw that the demon master watched him, surprised that he was still alive and curious what he was doing. Slowly he looked around him and eyed the demons who were standing the closest besides him. “So… you were thinking that I’m weakening JaeJoong?” A creasy smile crept over his face, those demons were REALLY STUPID and he hated them! “I’m NOT WEAKENING HIM!” Shouted YunHo suddenly angry at the demons before him with a mad look in his eyes. He pointed JaeJoong’s knife at one of the demons and narrowed his eyes and whispered something. “Disobey JaeJoong again and die…” and while he said that he… slammed his knife down into the weak demon who lied besides him on the ground and he… killed the demon! He smelled the really awful smell of the demons blood and had trouble not to gag.
When he pulled JaeJoong’s knife back out of the dead body from the demon he saw that JaeJoong walked toward him and he… offered JaeJoong his hand, the hand where he wore his demonic ring and smiled at the demon master as if he wanted to say that everything was fine and that he wanted to help the demon master. JaeJoong grabbed his hand and he closed his eyes for a few seconds, he didn’t really understand how he was doing it, but he connected himself even more with the demon master in a attempt to make him stronger and… it worked! When YunHo opened his eyes he saw that JaeJoong smile his old smile, his eyes were redder than red and he… just looked more evil than ever before! “Close your eyes YunHo” said the demon master slowly and this time he obeyed, he closed his eyes and he… heard how all the demons around him were making soft sounds, they were all tortured by JaeJoong as a punishment for their disobedience and he… liked it! Still smiling he listened to the sounds from the demons around him and wished that they all were learning their lesson about disrespecting JaeJoong! “You can open your eyes” spoke JaeJoong when all the sounds from suffering demons had stopped and when he looked around him he saw that they were alone in the really large ballroom, still standing close besides each other while holding their hands.
“Give me the knife YunHo, before it’s going to hurt you” and again, he heard that JaeJoong sounded worried about his safety! Nodding he did what JaeJoong had said, even now that he didn’t knew that the knife was dangerous for him and he gave the demon master his knife back. “I’m bringing you back to you room and when we are there we need to talk.” JaeJoong didn’t sounded angry anymore but that didn’t supposed that he wouldn’t get angry later, when they were back in his bedroom. But… he still wasn’t as worried as he needed to be, he knew that the ring was still affecting him and that he wasn’t thinking like himself, not now anyway. JaeJoong pushed him toward the hallway and he grabbed him with a firm grip by his arm, probably to prevent that he would get himself in more trouble than they were already in, and yes, he knew that if JaeJoong was in trouble that he would be in danger too. “How have you find me?” Asked JaeJoong while they walked through the now light hallway back toward YunHo’s bedroom. “I followed the darkness” said YunHo calmly, not suspecting at all that JaeJoong didn’t had suspected him to answer like this.
JaeJoong stopped abruptly and stared at him, frowning. “You saw the darkness?” JaeJoong now stared openly at him and shook his head, still frowning. “You are changing faster than I expected” muttered JaeJoong slowly, deep in thoughts. “Let’s go, I need to think about this” spoke JaeJoong while he started to walk again, pulling YunHo with him.
Back inside his bedroom he felt more like himself again, the ring was cold around his finger and he didn’t felt much of its power anymore. He was relieved that he was able to think like himself again but at the same time he had mixed feelings about the ring, without the ring he wouldn’t have been able to help JaeJoong and to find him. But… he had killed a demon! Realizing what he had done he shivered and felt shocked. He even looked worried at JaeJoong, searching for some comfort and… The demon master gave him a soft squeeze in his hand before he looked away again. He was thankful that JaeJoong had made the effort to be nice for him, even now that it was forced but he still wasn’t sure about the ring, he really didn’t liked it that he was transforming into somebody else every time when the ring started to work again. “I’m sorry that I didn’t have listened to you” spoke YunHo unsure, he didn’t trusted his own feelings anymore but he also didn’t knew what to expect from JaeJoong, would he be rude again like he had done before or would he be nicer this time? But JaeJoong didn’t acted angry with him, not even now that they were alone and without the presence from a few demons who could have listened to them while they had walked toward his bedroom. “You have given me power when I needed it” spoke JaeJoong, still looking thoughtfully at him. “Jung YunHo, why were you searching for me? What do you need?” The demon narrowed his eyes while he looked at YunHo, trying to understand him and why he had acted the way he had done…
“I wanted to ask you a few questions and I wanted you to answer them, that’s the reason why I was looking for you and…” YunHo paused for a few minutes, searching for the right words and looked up at the demon master. “You needed my help and that’s the reason why I did what I did” spoke YunHo eventually. “But don’t ask me how I have done it, I only knew that I could do it, with the help from the ring, of course.” “But WHY did you entered the ballroom, knowing that I was NOT alone and that you could be in danger there, you could have been killed there!” JaeJoong walked toward him and grabbed him by his arm and pulled him closer against this own body, placing his right hand over YunHo’s now slightly swollen belly. “The baby is still not alive but it’s growing” spoke JaeJoong after a few seconds and he looked up at YunHo, still expecting the younger male to answer his question but… YunHo hesitated, telling JaeJoong the truth was… maybe not the smartest thing to do, he couldn’t tell JaeJoong that he had been angry and jealous because all the demons there had disrespected JaeJoong! The demon master could try some experiments on him to see how much he already was affected by the ring and he was NOT allowing that. So, he folded his arms and tried to look bored.
“I had no reason for following you into that ballroom, I was bored and I wanted to ask my questions… and about the demons, you are their king ring? So I wasn’t in danger” spoke YunHo, trying to lie convincing. But… JaeJoong wasn’t a fool and he… only grinned at him! “Hmm…” murmured JaeJoong, still grinning. “YunHo, I’m a little disappointed that you haven’t really thought about you lie before you spoke to me… I am a demon YunHo, so lying isn’t really effective and…” JaeJoong paused before he spoke again, “When you are trying to lie the next time, and I advise you to not do it in this conversation, than do it more convincing” advised JaeJoong and he laughed some more but he didn’t seemed to be annoyed with him because of his lie, he even seemed to… enjoy it? “Where is the pathetic human boy I have brought here for the first time? I don’t see him anymore” Grinned JaeJoong, making YunHo angry. “How did you call me? pathetic? He wanted to say more, he wanted to act angry toward JaeJoong because he felt betrayed, he had helped JaeJoong and now he was pathetic?! “Stop” JaeJoong sounded serious again and he folded his arms, like YunHo. “I’m not in the mood for a fight, I want you to answer my question, why did you enter the ballroom even when you knew that there were demons inside, and no lies this time.” JaeJoong looked at him and it was clear that he wasn’t tolerating it that he was lying again, not now and not about this subject anyway.
Not happy at all about the situation but knowing that he had no other choice YunHo spoke. “I wanted to ask you some things about my pregnancy but when I left my room I saw that all the demons were gone, so I started to look for you. I saw that the shadows were darker in one part of the palace and I decided to follow the shadows, I knew that you would be there where the shadows were the darkest. Eventually I found a door end when I opened it I heard how the demons were disrespecting you and…” YunHo stopped, he didn’t liked it to confess his feelings toward JaeJoong, not knowing how the demon master would respond toward him and if he would see him like some of his experiments, like he had done with all the other humans he had tortured. “Don’t stop and tell me more” JaeJoong tapped with his foot on the floor and looked now even more interested at him, as if he had done something really special… YunHo sighed and looked away, trying to avoid JaeJoong while he spoke again. “I was angry because they were disrespecting you, only I can talk to you like that and I wanted to do something because I was afraid that you were in danger, because of the ring. You told me that the ring was weakening you and… I wanted to help you.” So, he had told JaeJoong the truth! He still looked away from JaeJoong, expecting that the demon master would start to start laughing again but…nothing happened! The demon master was just… silent.
Looking back at JaeJoong he saw that the demon master only stared at him, frowning. “The ring is changing you faster and more than I expected… This can be a problem if you are acting this reckless again…” JaeJoong stared again at him but not as if he was one of his experiments, more as if he was a problem he needed to fix and if he wouldn’t be able to fix this problem that he would be a danger… to himself! “I need to think about this” muttered JaeJoong and he started to pace in his bedroom, frowning. “JaeJoong?” YunHo felt weaker again, the ring had now really stopped to work and he felt unsure again. “What?” JaeJoong stopped and stared at him, he clearly didn’t knew if he was still affected by the ring or not, so he sounded more harsh than usual. “You still haven’t answered my questions…” YunHo placed both his hands over his belly and shivered. He hated it to not know what was going on and to be so independent toward JaeJoong, he wanted to know what was going on so that he could do something, not only for himself but also for the baby he was carrying and… strangely he also wanted to do something to help JaeJoong. Love was a strange thing, he knew that now…
“Why are you humans always…” JaeJoong wanted to insult him again, him and his whole human race but he stopped, he closed his eyes for a few seconds and tried to concentrate and to not hurt YunHo’s feelings more than he already had done, maybe he was feeling a little more human this time? “What do you want to know YunHo” asked JaeJoong with a forced friendly tone but… JaeJoong wasn’t fooling him, he heard that JaeJoong sounded frustrated, maybe even worried about him and this time not because him of something he had done but with the demonic ring and how he could control it. “How does the pregnancy works? How long will I be pregnant and…” He hesitated, not sure if he even wanted to know the answer for his last question. “How will I give birth to the baby? I’m not… a woman.” YunHo looked down at his own belly and frowned, he had really no idea how he needed to do it but he hoped that it wouldn’t be painful. “You will be pregnant for three months and about the… -” JaeJoong looked suddenly alarmed and grabbed him by his arm, pulling him away from the door! “What are you doing?” Screamed YunHo, just when the door was slamming open and… YooChun stepped toward them, followed by a few of his friends, all carrying weapons and they all were looking dangerous at JaeJoong. “Give the human boy to us” spoke YooChun while he pointed at YunHo, looking dangerous and ready to kill if he needed to.
“You are going to die for this” hissed JaeJoong, ignoring YooChun’s words and he pushed YunHo more behind himself, trying to protect him. “If you’re touching him I’m doing something worse than killing you all, I’m going to lock you all up in one of my dungeons and I will leave you there, without food, water and anything else you STUPID humans need to live on and then you all will die a really terrible death! JaeJoong’s body already transformed into his true demonic form but… because he was so busy with YooChun, he didn’t saw that one of YooChun’s other man had sneaked further in the room with a deathly knife in his hands and… the man threw the knife at JaeJoong! “JAEJOONG! WATCH OUT!” Shouted YunHo and he tried to push JaeJoong away from the knife, but… JaeJoong’s demonic body was too large and too heavy for him to push aside so he only could do one last thing and that was… pushing his own body before JaeJoong! The knife struck him in his back and at that moment, when he felt the pain and he saw how everything blackened around him he… felt free, safe… He knew that he had done the right thing, JaeJoong was a demon, he was mean and rude, but he loved the demon master and he couldn’t let JaeJoong die… With a few tears in his eyes he fell to the ground and stopped to breath…

He felt… angry and not because of JaeJoong this time but because of the demons who were disrespecting HIS JaeJoong, ONLY HE was allowed to disobey JaeJoong and to argue with him and not those STUPID demons! He clenched his fists and SLAMMED the door further open, not caring about the fact that the room was too dark for him to see what was happening around him and absolutely NOT caring about the fact that there were probably more than hundred demons inside the room, no… he didn’t cared about anything besides the fact that they were disrespecting HIS JaeJoong and he wanted to do something to stop them! He heard how all the demons around him started to growl and to hiss, he sensed that a few of them were moving around him, in a attempt to corner him in, hoping that they could attack him if they had the chance! “DON’T YOUCH HIM!” Shouted JaeJoong angry and within a few seconds he felt how JaeJoong appeared besides him, grabbing him by his arm and he felt how the demon master pulled him against his own body in a attempt to keep him safe in the presence of all the demons around them. He clapped in his hands and a few candles caught fire, illuminating the room. He saw that he was standing in a really large room, the room was big enough for more than five hundred humans! Maybe this was supposed to be a ballroom, but… YunHo shook his head, this wasn’t the time to think about stupid things like where JaeJoong could use this room for and he lifted his chin arrogantly to let all the demons know that he wasn’t afraid of them, no, he didn’t wanted to look weak or somebody who could get killed easy, like he was one of their preys.
He saw that JaeJoong was angry and that all the demons around them were watching them, some of them looked really angry with JaeJoong because he was protecting YunHo and others were just looking careful at them but he knew one thing for sure and that was that… they all seemed to NOT like him and that they were pissed with JaeJoong! He knew at that moment that he needed to do something to help JaeJoong, to make him stronger again and he knew that he needed to do it fast! JaeJoong was in danger because the ring had weakened him and he knew that if he didn’t helped the demon master they both would be in trouble or maybe worse, he would be tortured until he would have died a really painful death and JaeJoong would become a slave himself! He also didn’t knew exactly what was going to happen when he was going to help the demon master, but he knew that ring was giving him instructions, the ring was working really hard to connect YunHo to the demon master and because of the connection he knew what to do now. One of the demons who had tried to disobey JaeJoong still lied on the ground besides them, alive but weak and not able to move, he was probably waiting for his death… Without thinking about the danger he… grabbed the knife JaeJoong always wore with him, the knife what was poisoned and cursed to kill everybody who dared it to touch the knife and to use it, besides JaeJoong of course and smiled arrogantly at the demons around him… But, YunHo didn’t knew that the knife was dangerous and that any other person would have died a really terrible dead, but… YunHo wasn’t a normal person and he was connected to the demon master! The ring was now working really hard and he… was safe for the knife, he could touch everything what was made for JaeJoong, just because he was one with him and because he was carrying JaeJoong’s child!
He saw the shocked look in JaeJoong’s eyes when he had grabbed the knife, he saw that JaeJoong tried to took the knife away from him but… strangely he was faster than the demon master and walked toward the pathetic demon who lied on the ground. “Don’t worry, I’m not in danger” spoke YunHo out loud with a cold tone in his voice, he knew that it was foolish to do this again without the help from the ring and… His lips curled up in a half smile, JaeJoong had sounded worried about him when he had touched the knife! He saw that the demon master watched him, surprised that he was still alive and curious what he was doing. Slowly he looked around him and eyed the demons who were standing the closest besides him. “So… you were thinking that I’m weakening JaeJoong?” A creasy smile crept over his face, those demons were REALLY STUPID and he hated them! “I’m NOT WEAKENING HIM!” Shouted YunHo suddenly angry at the demons before him with a mad look in his eyes. He pointed JaeJoong’s knife at one of the demons and narrowed his eyes and whispered something. “Disobey JaeJoong again and die…” and while he said that he… slammed his knife down into the weak demon who lied besides him on the ground and he… killed the demon! He smelled the really awful smell of the demons blood and had trouble not to gag.
When he pulled JaeJoong’s knife back out of the dead body from the demon he saw that JaeJoong walked toward him and he… offered JaeJoong his hand, the hand where he wore his demonic ring and smiled at the demon master as if he wanted to say that everything was fine and that he wanted to help the demon master. JaeJoong grabbed his hand and he closed his eyes for a few seconds, he didn’t really understand how he was doing it, but he connected himself even more with the demon master in a attempt to make him stronger and… it worked! When YunHo opened his eyes he saw that JaeJoong smile his old smile, his eyes were redder than red and he… just looked more evil than ever before! “Close your eyes YunHo” said the demon master slowly and this time he obeyed, he closed his eyes and he… heard how all the demons around him were making soft sounds, they were all tortured by JaeJoong as a punishment for their disobedience and he… liked it! Still smiling he listened to the sounds from the demons around him and wished that they all were learning their lesson about disrespecting JaeJoong! “You can open your eyes” spoke JaeJoong when all the sounds from suffering demons had stopped and when he looked around him he saw that they were alone in the really large ballroom, still standing close besides each other while holding their hands.
“Give me the knife YunHo, before it’s going to hurt you” and again, he heard that JaeJoong sounded worried about his safety! Nodding he did what JaeJoong had said, even now that he didn’t knew that the knife was dangerous for him and he gave the demon master his knife back. “I’m bringing you back to you room and when we are there we need to talk.” JaeJoong didn’t sounded angry anymore but that didn’t supposed that he wouldn’t get angry later, when they were back in his bedroom. But… he still wasn’t as worried as he needed to be, he knew that the ring was still affecting him and that he wasn’t thinking like himself, not now anyway. JaeJoong pushed him toward the hallway and he grabbed him with a firm grip by his arm, probably to prevent that he would get himself in more trouble than they were already in, and yes, he knew that if JaeJoong was in trouble that he would be in danger too. “How have you find me?” Asked JaeJoong while they walked through the now light hallway back toward YunHo’s bedroom. “I followed the darkness” said YunHo calmly, not suspecting at all that JaeJoong didn’t had suspected him to answer like this.
JaeJoong stopped abruptly and stared at him, frowning. “You saw the darkness?” JaeJoong now stared openly at him and shook his head, still frowning. “You are changing faster than I expected” muttered JaeJoong slowly, deep in thoughts. “Let’s go, I need to think about this” spoke JaeJoong while he started to walk again, pulling YunHo with him.
Back inside his bedroom he felt more like himself again, the ring was cold around his finger and he didn’t felt much of its power anymore. He was relieved that he was able to think like himself again but at the same time he had mixed feelings about the ring, without the ring he wouldn’t have been able to help JaeJoong and to find him. But… he had killed a demon! Realizing what he had done he shivered and felt shocked. He even looked worried at JaeJoong, searching for some comfort and… The demon master gave him a soft squeeze in his hand before he looked away again. He was thankful that JaeJoong had made the effort to be nice for him, even now that it was forced but he still wasn’t sure about the ring, he really didn’t liked it that he was transforming into somebody else every time when the ring started to work again. “I’m sorry that I didn’t have listened to you” spoke YunHo unsure, he didn’t trusted his own feelings anymore but he also didn’t knew what to expect from JaeJoong, would he be rude again like he had done before or would he be nicer this time? But JaeJoong didn’t acted angry with him, not even now that they were alone and without the presence from a few demons who could have listened to them while they had walked toward his bedroom. “You have given me power when I needed it” spoke JaeJoong, still looking thoughtfully at him. “Jung YunHo, why were you searching for me? What do you need?” The demon narrowed his eyes while he looked at YunHo, trying to understand him and why he had acted the way he had done…
“I wanted to ask you a few questions and I wanted you to answer them, that’s the reason why I was looking for you and…” YunHo paused for a few minutes, searching for the right words and looked up at the demon master. “You needed my help and that’s the reason why I did what I did” spoke YunHo eventually. “But don’t ask me how I have done it, I only knew that I could do it, with the help from the ring, of course.” “But WHY did you entered the ballroom, knowing that I was NOT alone and that you could be in danger there, you could have been killed there!” JaeJoong walked toward him and grabbed him by his arm and pulled him closer against this own body, placing his right hand over YunHo’s now slightly swollen belly. “The baby is still not alive but it’s growing” spoke JaeJoong after a few seconds and he looked up at YunHo, still expecting the younger male to answer his question but… YunHo hesitated, telling JaeJoong the truth was… maybe not the smartest thing to do, he couldn’t tell JaeJoong that he had been angry and jealous because all the demons there had disrespected JaeJoong! The demon master could try some experiments on him to see how much he already was affected by the ring and he was NOT allowing that. So, he folded his arms and tried to look bored.
“I had no reason for following you into that ballroom, I was bored and I wanted to ask my questions… and about the demons, you are their king ring? So I wasn’t in danger” spoke YunHo, trying to lie convincing. But… JaeJoong wasn’t a fool and he… only grinned at him! “Hmm…” murmured JaeJoong, still grinning. “YunHo, I’m a little disappointed that you haven’t really thought about you lie before you spoke to me… I am a demon YunHo, so lying isn’t really effective and…” JaeJoong paused before he spoke again, “When you are trying to lie the next time, and I advise you to not do it in this conversation, than do it more convincing” advised JaeJoong and he laughed some more but he didn’t seemed to be annoyed with him because of his lie, he even seemed to… enjoy it? “Where is the pathetic human boy I have brought here for the first time? I don’t see him anymore” Grinned JaeJoong, making YunHo angry. “How did you call me? pathetic? He wanted to say more, he wanted to act angry toward JaeJoong because he felt betrayed, he had helped JaeJoong and now he was pathetic?! “Stop” JaeJoong sounded serious again and he folded his arms, like YunHo. “I’m not in the mood for a fight, I want you to answer my question, why did you enter the ballroom even when you knew that there were demons inside, and no lies this time.” JaeJoong looked at him and it was clear that he wasn’t tolerating it that he was lying again, not now and not about this subject anyway.
Not happy at all about the situation but knowing that he had no other choice YunHo spoke. “I wanted to ask you some things about my pregnancy but when I left my room I saw that all the demons were gone, so I started to look for you. I saw that the shadows were darker in one part of the palace and I decided to follow the shadows, I knew that you would be there where the shadows were the darkest. Eventually I found a door end when I opened it I heard how the demons were disrespecting you and…” YunHo stopped, he didn’t liked it to confess his feelings toward JaeJoong, not knowing how the demon master would respond toward him and if he would see him like some of his experiments, like he had done with all the other humans he had tortured. “Don’t stop and tell me more” JaeJoong tapped with his foot on the floor and looked now even more interested at him, as if he had done something really special… YunHo sighed and looked away, trying to avoid JaeJoong while he spoke again. “I was angry because they were disrespecting you, only I can talk to you like that and I wanted to do something because I was afraid that you were in danger, because of the ring. You told me that the ring was weakening you and… I wanted to help you.” So, he had told JaeJoong the truth! He still looked away from JaeJoong, expecting that the demon master would start to start laughing again but…nothing happened! The demon master was just… silent.
Looking back at JaeJoong he saw that the demon master only stared at him, frowning. “The ring is changing you faster and more than I expected… This can be a problem if you are acting this reckless again…” JaeJoong stared again at him but not as if he was one of his experiments, more as if he was a problem he needed to fix and if he wouldn’t be able to fix this problem that he would be a danger… to himself! “I need to think about this” muttered JaeJoong and he started to pace in his bedroom, frowning. “JaeJoong?” YunHo felt weaker again, the ring had now really stopped to work and he felt unsure again. “What?” JaeJoong stopped and stared at him, he clearly didn’t knew if he was still affected by the ring or not, so he sounded more harsh than usual. “You still haven’t answered my questions…” YunHo placed both his hands over his belly and shivered. He hated it to not know what was going on and to be so independent toward JaeJoong, he wanted to know what was going on so that he could do something, not only for himself but also for the baby he was carrying and… strangely he also wanted to do something to help JaeJoong. Love was a strange thing, he knew that now…
“Why are you humans always…” JaeJoong wanted to insult him again, him and his whole human race but he stopped, he closed his eyes for a few seconds and tried to concentrate and to not hurt YunHo’s feelings more than he already had done, maybe he was feeling a little more human this time? “What do you want to know YunHo” asked JaeJoong with a forced friendly tone but… JaeJoong wasn’t fooling him, he heard that JaeJoong sounded frustrated, maybe even worried about him and this time not because him of something he had done but with the demonic ring and how he could control it. “How does the pregnancy works? How long will I be pregnant and…” He hesitated, not sure if he even wanted to know the answer for his last question. “How will I give birth to the baby? I’m not… a woman.” YunHo looked down at his own belly and frowned, he had really no idea how he needed to do it but he hoped that it wouldn’t be painful. “You will be pregnant for three months and about the… -” JaeJoong looked suddenly alarmed and grabbed him by his arm, pulling him away from the door! “What are you doing?” Screamed YunHo, just when the door was slamming open and… YooChun stepped toward them, followed by a few of his friends, all carrying weapons and they all were looking dangerous at JaeJoong. “Give the human boy to us” spoke YooChun while he pointed at YunHo, looking dangerous and ready to kill if he needed to.
“You are going to die for this” hissed JaeJoong, ignoring YooChun’s words and he pushed YunHo more behind himself, trying to protect him. “If you’re touching him I’m doing something worse than killing you all, I’m going to lock you all up in one of my dungeons and I will leave you there, without food, water and anything else you STUPID humans need to live on and then you all will die a really terrible death! JaeJoong’s body already transformed into his true demonic form but… because he was so busy with YooChun, he didn’t saw that one of YooChun’s other man had sneaked further in the room with a deathly knife in his hands and… the man threw the knife at JaeJoong! “JAEJOONG! WATCH OUT!” Shouted YunHo and he tried to push JaeJoong away from the knife, but… JaeJoong’s demonic body was too large and too heavy for him to push aside so he only could do one last thing and that was… pushing his own body before JaeJoong! The knife struck him in his back and at that moment, when he felt the pain and he saw how everything blackened around him he… felt free, safe… He knew that he had done the right thing, JaeJoong was a demon, he was mean and rude, but he loved the demon master and he couldn’t let JaeJoong die… With a few tears in his eyes he fell to the ground and stopped to breath…
