Summary: When YooChun has a strange visitor in the middle of the night and he starts to worry. The young man needed his help and was in danger…

YooChun lay in his bed and was fast asleep when he suddenly woke because he felt something on his face. Immediately he opened his eyes and screamed when he saw that a young man was sitting next him in his bed. “Who are you?” YooChun shrank backwards and was not sure what to do. Must he call the police? YooChun turned the light on his nightstand on and was shocked. The young man was naked and wet! YooChun looked into his eyes and saw a sad and scary look in his eyes, in his beautiful big doe eyes… YooChun swallowed and repeated his question nervously and tried not look in between his legs. “Who are you?” But the sad young man only smiled unhappy at him and formed with his mouth the words, help me. and he disappeared!

YooChun stared with open mouth at the place where a few seconds ago had sat the young man and felt with his hand on the blanket, everything was wet and cold… Quickly he stepped out of his bed and looked confused, was he dreaming? Where was the young men? Nobody could disappear! He must be still inside his house and YooChun wanted to find him. He did not like the thought that somebody had entered his house and he wanted to make sure that there were no burglars inside.

With his phone in his hand, ready to call for help he searched his house, looking for the mysterious young man but found nobody and his door was also still locked and all his windows were closed. “Hello, is here somebody?” When nobody answered he felt silly. “Maybe it was a dream or I was not fully awake yet…” YooChun muttered softly to himself and decided to go back to his bed.

The next night.

YooChun had locked all the doors in his house and had checked all the windows, to make sure that nobody could enter his house. When he was satisfied, he walked upstairs and brushed his teeth and washed his face and felt tired. He could not concentrate on his work and was thinking almost the whole day about the strange young man and wondered if he was real or simply his imagination. But he was sure that the young man was gone, too embarrassed to come back. Maybe he was drunk that night and did not know what he was doing… And now that he was sober he would have regretted what he had done. But now, standing in his bedroom he felt uneasy. What if the young man did come back? YooChun decided that, if the young man would come back, that he would let him in and call somebody for help or bring him home.

But nobody was coming and when YooChun checked the time and he saw that it was past midnight he decided that the young man would not come and fell asleep…

Wet and cold fingers were stroking his face…
YooChun opened his eyes and sat upright in his bed. The young man was sitting next him in his bed and smiled unhappy at him and was again, just as the night before, naked. But this time YooChun knew what to do and grabbed his arm but jerked his hand back when he felt how cold the young man was and saw that he was shivering. “Who are you?” He asked again and wrapped his blanked over the shoulders from the young men. But the young man did not answer and shook his head. “Why are you not talking to me? Are you in trouble?”

YooChun frowned and watched his face carefully. YooChun saw that he was a few years younger than him, maybe nineteen years old but not much older. “If you can’t talk, shake your head then, okay?” YooChun saw that the young man was shaking his head and leaned suddenly against him and shivered.

“Are you afraid of someone?” The young man nodded again and stared at his hands. “Who? For who are you afraid?” YooChun was suddenly angry and did not understand how on earth someone could hurt a young man, so beautiful as him but he did not answer and he remembered that he could not speak or was to afraid to speak. “Are you afraid to speak?” The young man stared at him but did not shake his head. “Can you write?” YooChun wanted to know what was wrong with the young man and he wanted to help him and take care of him. The young man nodded but when YooChun gave him a pen and a paper he started to shake. His mouth opened in a silent scream, his face become paler and a look of pure angst was visible in his eyes. He grabbed the pen and paper and wrote as fast as he could. ”Help me, she wants to kill me! I’m Kim JaeJoong……….”

The young man disappeared again and the pen fell on the paper.

YooChun took the paper in his hands and was shocked. What was happening? Was this a joke? Were there secret camera’s installed in his room and were his friends watching him now? But when he looked around him he found no hidden cameras and he heard nobody laughing.

He stared at the paper before he jumped out of his bed and ran downstairs. He turned the computer on and typed in the search site Kim JaeJoong and saw one page that looked interesting. The title was: Searching for my best friend, Kim JaeJoong. When YooChun opened the page he started to read.

My best friend, Kim JaeJoong is now almost a year missing. He has black hair, big brown doe eyes and is now nineteen years old - a small photo was placed right under the text, showing the same young man as who he had see the last two nights. Quickly he read further. If you know where he is, call me or the police!

YooChun saw a phone number and the name, Shim ChangMin under the page and hesitated to call the number. He did not know what to say to the man, knowing that his story was strange. How could he say that he had seen Kim JaeJoong but that he had disappeared? Like a ghost? If somebody else had told him this story he would not believe it, so why would Shim ChangMin believe him? YooChun turned the computer off and stared thoughtful at the now dark computer screen and made a decision, he would help the young men and find a way to safe him, from every danger he was in.

YooChun was nervous when he stepped the next night into his bed and waited for JaeJoong. He had a special plan in mind and wanted to talk with JaeJoong before he would disappear again. He wore his clothes in bed, ready to leave if his plan worked. And yes, after a few minutes he felt how his bed become wet and he felt a cold, wet finger against his cheeks. Immediately he opened his eyes en turned the lamp on his nightstand on. He grabbed his laptop and placed the computer in front of JaeJoong.

“Tell me, where are you now? And for who are you afraid?” JaeJoong stared for a moment at him but began to type after a few seconds. YooChun dropped his blanked over JaeJoong’s cold shoulders and read what he was typing.

I’m in a town called Gwacheon…
A older women with gray hair and a birthmark on her face is keeping me captive in a old house.
I don’t know who she is and what she want from me, but she is trying to kill me!

JaeJoong looked up from the computer screen and stared pleadingly at him and opened his mouth to say something, but he made no sound. JaeJoong tried to speak but he failed again… But YooChun knew what he wanted to say and smiled at the younger man, “I’m doing my best to help you, don’t give up.” JaeJoong nodded but before he could disappear again YooChun wanted to ask him a important question, “are you still alive? Or… are you a spirit?” JaeJoong typed I’m alive, but not for long… JaeJoong disappeared before his eyes and all what was left was his wet blanked and the words on his computer screen.

YooChun was stunned, he had thought that JaeJoong was death because he saw his spirit, but clearly he wasn't death and he needed help! YooChun did not understand how it was possible that he saw JaeJoong as a spirit if he was still alive but he would find out soon what was going on!

A few minutes later YooChun sat in his car and started to drive. He knew where Gwacheon was, it was a city outside Seoul and a few hours’ drive. YooChun was happy that he a day off from his work the next day so he had no problems with driving in the middle of the night.

Almost six o’clock in the morning he stopped in Gwacheon and decided to stop by the next café he would see so he could refresh himself and eat something. It was moreover, too early to search for the women and ask questions. The people in town would only react suspicious if he would ask all his questions this early in the morning.

Almost immediately he found a café and stopped his car on the parking lot. He ate a small breakfast and splashed fresh water into his face in the toilet. When he was done with his breakfast he waited until the people in Gwacheon had woken up as well and checked his watch to see that it was almost nine o’clock and a good time to ask someone if there lived a older women in the city with a birthmark on her face. YooChun was pretty sure that there were not much people around who met the description.

The men who had been serving him his breakfast knew who the women was and where she was living. He gave YooChun an address and a direction how to drive. YooChun parked his car right in front of the house and tried to look inside, but everything was dark. YooChun waited a few hours in front of the house and when he was sure that nobody was home he stepped out of his car. He walked to the backyard and was relieved when the gate was unlocked. He closed the gate behind him and forced the backdoor open. He knew that he was doing something very dangerous and if somebody saw him and called the police, then he was in big trouble… But he must try to safe JaeJoong!

The first thing YooChun noticed when he entered the house was the smell. Everything in the house was smelling like human feces! YooChun did his best not to vomit from the smell and tried to breath thought his mouth. The smell became stronger when he entered the hallway and the smell was coming from the second floor.

With a sweaty forehead and a loud pounding heart he opened every door and looked inside. When he opened the bathroom he was shocked. In the middle of the room stood a big bathtub with dirty water inside. Blood patterns were visible on the floor around the bathtub and YooChun was sure, this was the place where JaeJoong was kept captive!

YooChun hurried to the next room and found out that the room was locked. “JaeJoong! Are your inside?!” YooChun pounded on the door and listened intensely if he heard a sound inside but heard nothing! Not even a whisper or a moan!

YooChun was suddenly afraid that he was too late and that JaeJoong was death! He searched every room till he found a iron in the washroom and slammed the door with it till the door cracked and he could open it.

What he saw inside was horrible! JaeJoong lay on the ground, naked and with dry blood all over his body! His wrists were tied and the cord was cutting in his wrists. His eyes were closed and he was too weak to move or even to open his eyes! YooChun lifted JaeJoong up in his arms and carried him to his car. He drove as fast as he could to the nearest hospital and screamed for help when he ran inside. A doctor placed JaeJoong on a hospital bed and pushed him out of the room, telling Yoochun to wait outside. A nurse asked him a few questions, who JaeJoong was, what had happened and where he lived. But when the nurse heard what has happened she called the police, saying that she must follow the protocol’s and that he must wait till the police had arrived.

The police asked a lot questions but YooChun was not afraid, he knew that the police would believe him if they found the house and saw where JaeJoong had been held captive. The police searched the house and found indeed that everything what YooChun was telling was true and not much later JaeJoong woke in the hospital.

JaeJoong remembered who YooChun was and confirmed YooChun’s story. The older women was arrested by the police and the police found out why she had kidnapped JaeJoong and why she had hurt him so much. A few years ago her daughter was in love with JaeJoong and he had rejected her. The poor girl was so in love with JaeJoong that she had ended her life. She was mentally disturbed and could not handle the situation. But her mother, she was blaming JaeJoong for the death of her daughter and she wanted to hurt JaeJoong.

JaeJoong was shocked when he heard the story and did not know who the girl was, till he saw a photograph. He blamed himself what had happened but YooChun told him that it was not his fault. JaeJoong’s best friend, Shim ChangMin was coming over to the hospital and thanked YooChun over and over for his help. “I had a almost death-experience, that’s why you could see my spirit. I don’t know why I came to you, from one at the next moment I was with you.” JaeJoong smiled weakly at YooChun.

In the next months there happened a lot. YooChun moved to the same city where JaeJoong lived and they started to date with each other and they were sure that fate brought them together.
