Jessica POV
I never thought I would say this but, I believe in love. I find myself looking out my window on dreary days like these, hot cocoa in hand, unable to help but feel depressed. The weather matches my mood and I fight the urge to end it all, to just be another statistic, another person who has committed suicide on dreary days like these. But just as quickly as it comes, that depression will slowly melt away from me when I feel those soft and loving arms wrap themselves around me. I don’t need to look to already know that her eye smile is shining brightly as we both look out of the window. I softly lean back into her, drawing the strength I need, and only a few more seconds of peaceful bliss pass before another pair of soft and loving arms wrap themselves on top of her arms. The second girl, TaeYeon, the shortie acting as our love’s shield from a world that could not understand our kind of love,it was moments like these that make me know I am in love. In love with two very different women that somehow manage to make us whole.
I don't know when this fairytale will end. I don't know if they are my prince charmings’ or not. I don't know if this is what it should feel like to really love someone. All I do know is that waking up every morning and opening my eyes to their sleeping faces is worth every story book or fairytale out there. It's worth smiling over. It's worth surviving all the hard times for.
Because I love them.
They never had to love me. They always had the choice of staying or leaving. They both know this. But the fact remains. They "chose" to willingly stay with me, they "chose" to willingly let me in their lives, and they "chose" to willingly love me for everything that I am. Be it my faults, my perfections, my dings, my scrapes, my messy and dirtied face after rolling around in the mud, my wounded hands when I go picking roses in the garden..
Moments with them make me wish that life never ends, moments like these makes me wish that life is as perfect as this, moments like these makes me wish that life was never cruel to any of us, and moments like these makes me wake up in the morning and smile because I know, without a shadow of a doubt..
That I finally am home..

Tiffany stood by the large windows in her hotel room with her arms neatly folded on the window sill. The cool night air, with a slight scent of sea water, blew by and swept gently into the dark bedroom. It was a welcomed treat that she sorely missed having been away to Korea for so long for the life of an idol did not leave much time for anyone to stand still and just bask in the ambiance of it all.
She took a deep sigh for the umpteenth time today and still she could not believe that she was home. The fact alone left her in such a state of excitement yet dread. It had been so long since she last saw them and now wonders how would her family react to finally seeing her after so long?
Her.
The prodigal daughter who disobeyed her father and left to pursue her dream in a country that's well in the other side of the world. Will they welcome her back with open arms or shun her away as if she were a dirty beggar?
She didn't know. She just did not know.
A soft rustling, along with a low hum, is heard as a form shifted on the bed. Tiffany glanced over at the slumbering figure, blonde hair splayed messily on the soft white pillows. The dark haired beauty tried to hold in her giggle but a few did escape although it was barely enough to break the night's gentle silence. Slowly, the smile faded from her lips and the eye-smiles that she was famous for settled back into their normal pose.
But most of all, amidst all her worries about family acceptance and coming home, this was the one that troubled her the most. How could she explain to them that she has fallen in love? She left her childhood home so young, so broke and not knowing any better only to return years later all grown up, successful and in love?
In love with a blonde haired girl who's brooding outlook earned her the nickname "Ice Princess" but with a smile that dared, even challenged, the world to take a leap of faith and fall in love?
She didn't know. She just did not know.

Tiffany’s POV
It was a cold, stormy night and as always I couldn't sleep. I had been lying in bed for some time now, too afraid to sleep, because I knew the moment I did, I would jolt awake a few minutes later. I slowly sat up in bed, my knees pulling up towards my chest as I raked my fingers through my messy hair. The person that lying next to me soon stirred, letting out a soft groan as she turned over in her sleep to facing me, her blond hair splaying over the pillows. After what seemed like a lengthy while had passed, her breathing reverted back to a soft and melodic rhythm. She did not stay still though and made light clutching motions at nothing as her arms remained pressed closely to her chest. My heart broke.
I slowly lied back on my side, propping myself on my elbow, gazing intently as my fingertip softly traced her bangs. I gently swiped the hair clear from her face, revealing her soft and cool pale forehead. Usually covered, I never noticed how it lightly shone in the moonlight. I let my fingernail softly trail down the bridge of her nose, and I soon muted a slight chuckle as her forehead creased, her head shaking slightly to dislodge my fingernail from her face.
Once I was sure she was sleeping again, I once more trailed my fingernail along her features, managing to get as far as her upper lip. Then her bottom lip. In a heartbeat, they suddenly parted and swallowed my finger to the first knuckle, suckling idly as I paused, eyes tracing over those same lips I've kissed so many times before. As minutes passed, I couldn’t help but wonder how those lips could utter those three words that had the power to send a shiver from the top of my head all the way down to my toes so effortlessly...
I love you, Jessica Jung..

The sun was already high up in the sky, the streets had been bustling for the past few hours but that didn't stop the two girlfriends from staying in bed, not wanting to join the rest of the productive world. This is one of the few moments that they can share due to their jobs and they always made sure to spend them together.
At the moment, the two lumps under the white satin sheets were playing around, trying to see who can get the most pinch or poke in against the other. Even if they were literally lying next to each other, that didn't stop them from squealing, laughing, and making such a ruckus that anyone outside their apartment door will be able to hear them.
"Uncle!" Tiffany squeaked just as Jessica got in the last pinch, elevating her to the lead with 3 pinches and a poke.
"I win~" Jessica teased her girlfriend and stuck her tongue out. "Merong~"
"Hmph," Tiffany pouted and turned away from Jessica.
"Aww my baby Hwang~" cooed Jessica before wrapping the girl in her arms, holding her tight against her own body and gently nuzzled the back of the younger girl's neck. "I love you."
Tiffany smiled, the loss she suffered now a distant memory as she turned to face the blond, tracing those cold features with her manicured nail. Jessica relaxed her face and closed her eyes, humming softly. The afternoon was indeed turning out to be a relaxing one.
"Before," Tiffany whispered as she looked into Jessica's eyes, her fingertips softly tucking a loose strand of hair behind the blond's ear. "I only had two fears in my life."
"And now?” Jessica asked coyly as she brought their clasped hands together and gently kissed every single knuckle on Tiffany's hand.
"Now, I have three."
"What are they?"
"The first one is being abandoned."
"I will never leave you," Jessica said sincerely as she smiled and used her free hand to swipe the bangs from the mushroom's eyes.
"I hope so," was Tiffany's cryptic remark before turning her had to kiss Jessica's palm, her eyes closing.
"Do you not believe me?" Jessica asked as her tone got sad.
"My second fear is losing my family and friends."
"Families and friends come and go," Jessica said. "It's up to you how you handle the loss."
"I kno-"
"Besides, who's to say that a family must have a mother, father, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, so on and so forth for it to be considered a family?"
Tiffany listened to Jessica's soft and cooing tone as she smiled and shifted closer to the blond. "As always, you're right."
"Biased much?" Jessica teased and giggled before giving Tiffany an eskimo kiss.
"Oh hush!" Tiffany giggled and returned the eskimo kiss, wrapping her free arm around the blonde’s waist.
"And third?" Jessica queried.
Tiffany kept quiet, closing her eyes tightly to stop the oncoming tears that she felt from escaping.
"H-Hey.." Jessica questioned as she tried to pull from Tiffany.
Tiffany mumbled something as she buried her face against the blonde’s neck, trying to breathe evenly but the rising emotions are choking her.
"T-Tiffany.. S-Stop breathing on m-my neck like t-that.." Jessica softly murmured, her cheeks slightly tinged with pink now. "I can't understand you.."
Tiffany whispered once more but this time the blond caught the words. It took her a few seconds before she shifted her free hand and cupped the back of the mushroom's head, holding the girl tightly to her, making soft cooing sounds.
"I will never leave you, my love.." whispered the blond and fought the urge to wince at how tightly the younger girl clung to her.
"Promise me.."
"I promise."
Jessica held the girl in her arms, singing a plethora of their favorite songs, tucking this memory that they made together in their minds where all their other moments resided in.

Tiffany struggled to breathe as the car's metallic body laid heavily on top of her. She had been in a car crash a few seconds ago and she struggled to keep consciousness, trying to move around to see if her passenger is alright. After a few pain filled movement of squirming and trying to pull herself inch by painful inch, she turned her body enough that her head was now facing the passenger's side. Tears welled in her eyes the moment she saw crimson liquid cascading down flesh.
"J-Jessi" she hoarsely called out barely above a whisper, struggling to breathe and crawl closer to the blond.
"F-Fany" came the hoarse reply as she shifted enough to look at Tiffany, seeing the tears that are now freely cascading down her face.
"Je-" Tiffany tried to crawl closer to Jessica but her leg was caught between a shattered piece of the windshield glass and stick shift of the car.
"F-Fany.." Jessica called out again, this time louder but still hoarse.
"I'm coming Jessi," Tiffany said before she bit down on her bottom lip and yanked her leg, fighting the sharp cry bubbling in her throat as the glass punctured skin and dug an inch deep. "I'm here.."
"I'm sorry," Jessica whispered as she forced her eyes to open and focus on Tiffany's face, a tear escaping the side of her eyes.
"For what, babo..?" Tiffany chuckled and sniffed at the same time as she painfully willed her right arm to move, knowing that her shoulder is precariously teetering on the edge of dislocation. With the last burst of her strength and a pained cry, she laid her hand on top of Jessica's own.
"I'm sorry that I broke my promise.." Jessica weakly said as she shifted her hand enough to intertwine her fingers with Tiffany's, clasping it as tight as she can.
"Wha-"
"It looks like.. I'm leaving you.. after all.." Jessica croaked as she swallowed. "Always know that I..I lo-love y-you.."
"I love you too.. Jessi please don't leave me.." Tiffany said through sobs as she tightened her hold on Jessica's hand.
"Good bye, Fany-ah.." she took her last breathe and last look at Tiffany before her eyes closed and her hand went limp.
"Jessi!" Tiffany frantically said before shaking Jessica's limp arm, the tears now flowing harder. "Don't leave me!"
Tiffany continued to cry as she crawled over to Jessica's side, her leg bleeding profusely now and her body feeling battered and bruise. But she didn't care and used brute strength to finally reach where Jessica laid, positioning her body to be cradled in her deceased girlfriend's arms. She weakly clung to Jessica's lifeless body and whispered soft nothings to her.
"I'm coming Jessi," Tiffany whispered as she clung to Jessica. "Wait for me.."
Tiffany's added weight on Jessica's side rocked the vehicle, teetering on the edge of the bridge for a few seconds before finally shifting forward, falling off the bridge and landing in the waters of San Francisco, the cold waters rushing in.

Shy glances, hesitant caresses, softly whispered nothings imagined as our eyes lock from afar, mutely speaking the words we don't dare to say. Things we want, things we need, things we don’t want to live without.. And that little fact alone is enough to make me suffer because I know that I'm not the one you're after.
I love you, girl of my dreams.
Whoever you are..
