Weekend
Well, thankfully, this last week is over...but now I get to deal with all the freshmen who came to school early for sports...and cannot get their passwords until friday when the normal freshmen come in. Oh well, poor them. {feels little sympathy for the atheletes...they shouldn't have the time to mess on their computers anyways, if they're supposedly here to train hard for a week...they need to be sleeping otherwise!}
Anyways, Friday, after calling the office *again*, the carpet people FINALLY came and fixed up our carpet...put in new padding and tacked it back down and all. So we got to have our home back again...then spent most of the weekend cleaning up all the normal cleaning stuff...plus some...to make it livable again. It took extra long. But, now it's all clean, and all our dishes are washed (happily! the dishwasher was even able to remove the tea staining from my tea mug! wahoo!)
So the apartment is back together...we had fun doin' some extra cookin' this weekend. We finally ventured into cooking our own soup...like, from scratch, you put in all the raw veggies and uncooked meat and let it all cook...it turned out pretty good, though turkey still works better than chicken...oh well. We also made rainbow jello (you do each layer and let it sit for a bit adn then pour on the next color...) as a surprise for my sister and for some of the people who're coming back to school this week. My sis might want to make fudge tonight, so we might have some of that around, too. Now I know there are certain people who get too hyper with too much sugar, so I might hafta ration it... {G}
Anyways, I'm tired, mainly cause while I slept extra this weekend, I've been fightin' some sort of stomach virus or another {thinks is almost over it, thankfully}
My sister is coming to spend the night on her way to school...since SA is halfway between home and school for her now. I'm glad she's transfered, but still....7 hours of driving to get home? Kinda crazy...that's why she's stoppin' in with us. We're gonna fix up her computer some, too, I think. Anyways. I'm gonna continue on with reading my Star Wars books....I'm almost to the fun ones...the Jedi Academy ones....wahoo!
