A new story
I've been working on my original story on and off, and thinking about it a lot, and finally got to the point where I had to put it away for a while and think about something else.
So I started a new story in a new genre. It's a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story set in the world of the 1971 movie. I'm trying to keep the tone similar to the movie, nothing too heavy or complex, which is exactly what I need right now. The last time I started posting chapters on FF.net as I finished them, it ended up taking me two or three years to actually finish the story...so we'll see how it goes this time. I think it will be easier if I keep the tone (and writing style) lighter.
