My life is full of cleaning, reading, and planning. I haven't posted because none of these things are really postable. Also note that writing doesn't appear on that list. Since my chore list has now shrunk to a manageable size, I will try some of that tonight.
Pride on Sunday kicked butt, but
farawaypoints, you and Jimmy missed the best part! We had a heep of fun playing at Beatniks and I even found some of the awesome feather eyelashes I have been coveting. Cute boys and the hottest girl I had seen all day...and then we went and had a light dinner at an amazing middle eastern place, a gorgeous sit-on-the-floor kind with hookahs and ambiance. Very relaxing. I think my sister was glad I drove, however, as she seemed ready to fall over. I, however, managed to stay awake until midnight. I missed meeting some people, but it was so crazy that I did not feel too bad about it. I will post some pictures shortly, if I am so distracted.
Should I feel guilty for wanting to jump ahead on my reading list and just read the giant book I picked up today? I know it would kill most of my plans, outside of those I have concretely made. I think I will be good, hold off, and finish The Mole People at least, because it's short and light. I have some errands to run and some writing to do, then working on the thesis for a few hours. Tomorrow is the bachlorette party, which I helped to plan last minute. It involves a trip to the
Scifi Cafe in Burlington, WI, then an investigation of ley lines, vortexes, ghosts, graveyards, the Bray Road Beast and more. Should be amusing, at least. Saturday is the wedding, then Sunday is my sister's birthday and the Fire Jam in Chicago.
