Season Premieres

Lazy me is back. For a few. Right, so I've been pretty sick and been home for a week. Recovering. Except I'm not. The pain isn't really going away. Although mostly everything else has. Its not tuberculosis atleast. Erm, so why am I back. Because Supernatural is back, baby!

I liked the episode. It was decent. Not as rocking as most of the premieres have been. Although 3.01 was way crappier. Some of it didn't make any sense though. Lets make some sense.

Bobby with all his protection charms got possessed. Didn't buy it.

The consent thing. Castiel hadn't asked Jimmy's daughter's permission to take her body. I mean we know Jimmy was a devout man who prayed for it. But nothing as such about the daughter.

They've been harping on how important Dean is the entire last season, and now we know why. Because he's a vessel. Dude, they made him sound so much more important in the scheme of things. Although now I can see the importance of that picture in Dean's lock-up last finale. Also, the archangels are bad too? They, too, betrayed God and tried to free Lucifer? If you can't trust your archangels, main men, whatever, who can ya trust? Bah, the angels are no better than demons or Lucifer. I hope they end up in Hell with him.

Speaking of Lucifer, I quite liked him. When we think Satan, we think pure evil, except it wasn't like that. In some ways, he came off looking better than any angels. I liked how he convinced Nick to let him use his body. Better than anything angels could have done. I'm waiting to see how he turns out once he's inside his vessel. I hope they keep him interesting. PS: Did you know the significance of the name Nick? The English folklore term for the devil was Old Nick.

What's left? Oooh, Castiel is all mysterious and working for some secret source. I expect it to be God, lol. And oh yes, the fanfic girl. I had major issues with that. I mean its okay to mock them and considering the fangirls play such a huge part in the show's success and how crazy they are, I understand. But to show a fanfic writer in such bad light, is this how they see us? Because I didn't find that funny.

Lastly the Dean-Sam conversation. Yes! That was exactly what I was hoping for. For once, Dean gave Sam hell back. Fuck, he chose a demon chick over his brother, and he beat his brother up. No one could ever be okay after that. Good for Dean. Sam deserves to feel guilty after all he did. Asshat!

Next up, The Vampire Diaries. Yes, I watched it. My sisters ganged up on me to make me forcefully download it and then watch it in what is usually my TV hour. Anyway, it was meh! It looked like One Tree Hill with Vampires. They used every corny vampire show trait from smelling blood to being needed to be invited into the house.

The most interesting person on the show is Damon, which is something because he only shows up after 31 minutes are up. Ian Somerhalder looked seriously cute and utterly menacing and if I do catch the show again (which I will, the sissies liked it) it'll be only for him.

That's it for this week. See ya, dudes.
