I'm home again. Father's doing better now. They put him on more medication and changed some of the rest and it seems to have made a big difference. Mother is pleased--I thought she was going to cry her eyes out of her head with relief. It was nice to get to see my family again, even if it was not the happiest occasion, but I'm glad to be back. I hear there was a fire or something of the like while I was gone. I'm sure I'll run across a news story about it at some point.

Going from Italian to Japanese is rather a pain sometimes. Forgive me if any of this is rather off.
