(no subject)
So there I have it. I am done with the whole "doing stuff in the summer thing" now that Montreat is over, unfortunately. Montreat was, despite a few misgivings, extremely fun and exciting. I now need to pack up and clean up so the German exchange student Simon has somewhere to live when he gets here on the 14th. Coincidentally, move-in day is also the 14th. How interesting and convenient!
I also have a few odd jobs here and there which will thankfully take up a good portion of my time. Still, though, since getting home from Europe I haven't really wanted to move at all from noon until 9 at night. And I like to sleep in so I miss a lot of that morning stuff.
At any rate, I retook my political compass test to see if anything had changed for the year. I am now slightly less libertarian but just as socialist. How lovely!
In addition, I do believe that facebook is much like the Internet: powerful and at times beautiful in its world of possibility, but quite sobering when taken into practical hand.
In other not-news-definitely-not-anything-you-care-about, I have a dog-sitting job for the next week and a half and I definitely am getting my Mac sometime soon.
