(ooc: Okay, so basically Cress discovered the wonders of voice recording a bit earlier, tinkered around with it a bit, and then put down the laptop somewhere nearby to resume work on rebuilding his village's inn, which had been previously burned down. It's half standing, but still needs a lot of fixing up. So he goes about trying to set one of its roof beams properly in place, failing to notice that this one is half-burnt, and ends up accidentally splitting it in half and bringing part of the roof down on top of him.
