Life Update
Hello again, LJ. I am here with one of my sporadic life updates. Woohoo!!
I spent several hours the other night FINALLY sorting through my corner wardrobe. Threw out a bunch of old/un-worn clothes and freed up a FUCK-TON of space for my cosplays. My room is now approximately 5,000,000% tidier, and all my cosplays fit neatly together in the wardrobe on their own hangers. FUCK YES!!
Been a bit of a recluse for the past few months, BUT... that means I've been getting all creative and crafty in my spare time. My main thing at the moment is decorating boxes by way of decoupage. I'm also planning on making themed hair ribbons and potentially looking into getting back to tutu-making. If this becomes something I find myself doing enough of, and the stuff I produce is of high enough quality, I might set up shop on Etsy. :D
I am re-making Nero's Devil Bringer. The last one was a labor of love, and I'm still amazingly proud of it, but I have some ideas for how to improve it. Different placement of the red scales, use a more flexible paint, etc... it's gonna be awesome!
BIG NEWS!!!! As of early August-time, I will be packing my bags and moving up to Liverpool. I have been trying for MONTHS to find jobs up there, but hearing nothing back. I suspect - as do others - that me being in London is hindering me there. So I made the decision last week to hand in my notice at the end of this month, finish my 4 weeks notice and officially leave the London Dungeon by the end of July. I have Kitacon at about that time, so I'll get that out of the way and give myself a week or two to pack and get my shit together before moving in with creatore-magico and drazzi for a little while. I'm hoping to have a job and potentially my own place lined up before too long. SO... yeah. Big thing. But I feel good about it. :D
