Work and kitty stuff...
So, with today being my first day off in 2 weeks, I thought I'd finally get round to writing a quick update.
WELL!!! I handed in my notice and said a joyful goodbye to everyone at Morrison's on Monday and have just completed my first full week at the Dungeons.
It's so different, but I'm enjoying it massively so far. It's Easter Holidays at the moment, so it's been busy - and it's going to be busy for the next couple of weeks - which means my hours are verging on full time at the moment, but I know that after the holidays there's going to be a dip. That's okay. Like I said, I'm still earning more here than I was at Morrison's and it's only a couple of months until the Summer, which means tons of overtime again. So yes, I am a pleased Kye. :D
Everyone there has been so lovely, as well. Co-workers, managers, etc... it's like a big quirky family. During slow hours we all just eat candy behind the counter and chat about random shit to amuse ourselves. Most of the people on the tills are around about my age and I've already discovered that 2 of them have tumblr accounts and one of them is a huge Disney geek. So, y'know... that's awesome. :D
Enjoying my day off, though. Doing absolutely nothing with it - just sleeping and taking it easy. And posting pictures of my kitty.
