Sims 3 question
Ok, so... scenario:
Absolutely ages ago I bought the Sims 3 from eBay for cheap. Got it and installed it and have been playing happily with it since then. Last weekend I went out and got all the current 3 expansion packs. However, when I tried to install them it said the region code on my original game didn't match that of the expansion packs. So... I grab the original case to check it out, and... low and behold... the game is from India. That would be why it was cheap. :S
SO ANYWAY!!! Obviously I want the expansion packs, so I went out the other day and got the original game from the shops so I will have nice matching regional codes. So now I need to uninstall the game that is currently on there and install the new one. BUT!!! I don't want to lose all the sims/households/houses/progress I've made, so... is there a way to save all of that onto my hard-drive somehow and then just import it back into the game once I've uninstalled/reinstalled?
