Yesterday,
Kia was kind enough to take me into town with her to do some shopping in case I'd forgotten anything for Peanut when he/she comes out into this world. Oddly enough, I found a stuffed animal.. well fruit actually, that would go along perfectly with the one that my
Gokou brought back with him. I think this one is suppose to be an apple. It's very cute and extremely soft. It has little arms and feet, with a pair of overalls on, I'm sure that Peanut will like it. I bought a changing table as well, I don't know how I could have missed such a thing. Now I won't have to worry about changing diapers on the kitchen table anymore. The changing table has a lot compartments to put things in and even a heated pad for those cold mornings, since babies are very sensitive to the cold.
When I got home my trip to town, there was a wonderful odor as I entered the house. On the table, there was pile of fried chicken just sitting there. I knew that my Gokou was around somewhere because you could still see these little wisps on steam floating off the pieces of chicken. I was starving by the time I had gotten home so I just about dropped my bags and dug right in. I think Peanut was as hungry as I was because I ate almost all of it. Peanut is definately going to have their fathers appetite.
Having heard the commotion, my Gokou came out of the kitchen with another large tray of fried chicken. He also had mash potatos and pot of stew with him. We both ate a very big dinner last night, I think I even ate as much as he did! Then I was feeling drowsy so I decided to go to bed. No wonder, my Gokou usually falls asleep right away after a big meal, eating all that food is a lot of hard work!
