Which school did you attend? Or...Are attending?

School? I've never really been to school. Papa taught me everything I needed to know!

Wizarding schools don't really exist. The only people who can use magic are the elves and half elves.

Of course it exists! I graduated Hogwarts last year.

They don't on Aselia! Besides, they wouldn't let half elves into it if it did exist anyways.

How terrible. No magical folk should ever be denied a proper magical education.

Most half elves do pretty stupid things with their magic, though. Which is why the elves don't really like us all that much.

Stupid things? As in what, if I may ask?

Liiiiike making weapons that drained the tree of mana. If we didn't have the tree, the world wouldn't be doing as well as it is now. The elves don't like the half elves for helping like that.

Ahhh. Interesting, interesting. I've never heard of such a thing in my life.

How does magic work in your world? I think I've heard someone else talk about being a wizard and that kind of magic.

Well, it's divided up between Magic folk and Non-Magic folk who we call muggles. Witches and wizards are usually born from magical parents, but sometimes a muggle-born comes along, like me. We use wands, for the most part. It's really quite standard.

Huh. That actually sounds pretty cool, actually! I don't really use a wand when I cast magic myself.

That's quite admirable. Most witches and wizards can't do that, you know.

Really? Wow. It's hard to imagine a world that doesn't have people who can't do magic unless they've got something.
