Just watched the last Misfits episode. These writers were on crack, I swear.
I also just read fandomsecrets where, in secret #3 (http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/809179.html?thread=509997531#t509997531), a Misfits image is used (among others) to relay that the OP would have never gotten into it if it were not for viewing secrets about it on the community. I wouldn't have gotten into Misfits if it weren't for fandomsecrets, either. Funny little story to that.
For me, it started with this secret: http://fandomsecrets.livejournal.com/452877.html?thread=265693197#t265693197. Basically, the OP admits knowing nothing about the girl in the image, just that she/he found her very unattractive. The image is of the character Kelly from Misfits. (At the time, berrypop90 was a frequent commentator, and often replied with an icon of Kelly just like the one the OP signaled out. The secret is not necessarily calling the user berrypop90 out, but it is a coincidence that the OP used that particular image.) Cue the first comment, from berrypop90, to be a reply with a most glorious and appropriate .gif:
I laughed so hard. I didn't immediately watch Misfits afterwords, but I knew I had to watch it at some point. All because of this reply of a .gif of Kelly. (She turns out to be my favorite character, too.)
I have no freakin' clue what's in store for next season, if there is a next season. Zombie episode was a little lack-luster for me. Finale was meh. Found this pretty image on tumblr:
Words read: Come take the weight off me now. I just thought it was a nice ensemble image of those rare moments where the characters do face guilt and other miserable feelings. (Don't be fooled by their sad faces, though, lol.)
