A Shilent Hirll, Shilent Hirll
Dear. Sweet. Jesus.
So this evening Carly, Jackie, Shelby, Katie and I went out to see the Silent Hill movie. I wasn't expecting much for 2 reasons, 1) It's a movie based off a video game (a horror video game at that) and those tend to suck, and 2) I haven't really been impressed by a horror flick since Saw II.
Boy was I wrong. This movie rocked my socks. Hardcore.
Now lets make one thing clear quickly, I have dabbled in the Silent Hill games, but I've never really gotten the chance to sit down and play them for a while. The 'Uber Hardcore Fan' department was placed on Jackie, Shelby, and Carly. Though they nitpicked, over all they were thouroughly impressed. I know I was. It was creepy, it was entrancing, it pulled you in and didn't let go. I wished to sit back down and watch it again.
And now I'm going to sit back and enjoy the preverbial glow of a good horror movie.
...and leave the lights on. Definatly leave the lights on.
