as everyone probably knows, I work in a research lab. As the lab grunt, I mostly do all the stuff no one else wants to do - racking tips, making solutions and media, running gels, PCR, Digestion, and miniprep, midiprep and maxiprep. The preps are w way of extracting DNA. I usually use a centrifuge for all three, and minipreps pretty small and goes fast. Midiprep and maxiprep....take forever. They have to spin several times, plus what for them to drip through a filter. But today I got to do midiprep with a vacuum set up, it was exciting :P And fast. It made me happy.
Which I know is kinda sad.
But it was done in an hour, instead of 3.5. Which is so much better.
Haha.
