I am very offended.
I went to Borders this weekend and they had their classics series sitting out. So I started flipping through them and picked up The Iliad. And was horrified. They turned it into paragraph form. The Iliad is poetry, epic poetry. It's not a novel. It should stay in it's intended form. It was very upsetting. To make matters worse, Border's "classic" edition of the Count of Monte Cristo is abridged. That's right, abridged. How can they go about purporting that you should read the abridged version of classic literature?? It just doesn't make sense. It makes me cry, in fact. Boooooo!
My sister Kelsie is out seeing me this weekend. And I feel wiped out. Too much walking...But we've gone up the Space Needle, all over Down Town, Pike's Market, Fremont, Queen Anne, Church, Thai Food, and we're going to Sushi tonight, even though I don't like it. I'm sooo tired, but we've been having lots of fun ^_^
Not much else going on though...I hope to see some of you guys next weekend though!!
