Puppy Kitten Weekend
I gave kaputotter a lift up to her folks' this weekend to drop off some things before she leaves. This gave me a chance not only to once again devour one of her mom's tasty homemade desserts (strawberry rhubarb tart, yum), but also to visit with some adorable critters. The dogs are always nice, but Caseyboy's little puglet was especially cute (pic below).
We went out to see Over the Hedge, too, which was also very cute. And we randomly stumbled upon some sort of furmeet while en route (license plate: YIFFY), but, er, we didn't have time to stop and say hi. ^_^;
The weather was nice today, so we went out to the local animal park too. There were quite a few cats there... mostly lynxes, but also a few bobcats and one sad cougar who only had a stumpy little tail. ;_;
And finally, to cap it all off, I stopped on the way home to see Lissa's new kitten. She's sooooo adorable and small and covered in kittenfluff (pic).
... Goodbyes are hard, but happy memories make them easier. Especially those with puppies and kittens.
