today it rained so much my driveway was covered in hilly bits
and parts of my town were flooded
and the kids had to bring all their stuff up to the second floor
i did get sent home early
but then again i saw a lot of emergency vehicles along the way
let's hope the storms don't drown my island

instead of capoeira i watched at least 2 solid hours of seinfeld, played guitar, got about half a dozen mosquito bites (must be a sly lil bugger), and wrote some nonsense (other nonsense, that is)
