Alive. Promise. *Long Post*

I'm alive! Promise.

This weekend was spent being busy. On Friday, Brian and I went over to see Erin and Brian's new apartment. It's freaking sweet. It's all updated and just amazing. It's 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths for only $1050 in a nice area. I'm really happy for both of them because they have both had really shitty things happen to them in the last few years, so it's nice they get something good happening.

Then on Saturday, Brian went to visit the homeowners association to find out if we could get white vinyl windows instead of the almond vinyl windows since the price difference is $90 per window. They would not budge, which I expected. After he came home, we went out to Erin and Brian's again to help move. Of course it was very hot and humid on Saturday, so I made sure to drink enough water. We helped Erin put together a bed and then moved light boxes. I had warned Erin (and she knows from experience) that I only move light boxes and supervise. I don't do anything heavy.

Of course Erin moved from a 2nd floor apartment to another 2nd floor apartment. By the time the moving was said done, we were all in pain. Oh, and during the move, Brian air conditioning went out in his Aveo. So we are in the process of figuring out when that's getting fixed. I love being grown up (not).

Yesterday I got the oil changed in my car, and I got yelled at by the guys at Valvoline because I started to enter in the garage. They were waving me in, and no one hustled up to my window to help me, so I figured it was okay. Jerks. I then did light shopping at Old Navy. It was light because I completely forgot it was a tax-free weekend in Missouri. That means all back to school items (clothes, computers, etc) were tax free. It was chaos with kids in Old Navy. I think some people didn't understand the use of birth control.

After my time in the public, I retreated back to Lake St. Louis to visit with my friend, Jennifer, who was in town from Philadelphia. She's pregnant with twins. I haven't seen her in a year plus, so it was good to catch up. Her son is 2 and a half and so cute! I told him he was a monkey, and he disagreed. hee.hee.

I came home to play chill and play World of Warcraft. The guild Brian, Tonya, DJ and I are in just went super nerdy. They wanted us to sign up on their website. We got in game letters saying if we didn't sign up by a specific time, we would be kicked out of the guild. The website was just a resource website that *I* would have never used. I have Thottbot for that! Tonya, DJ and I left the guild and started our own one. It has some silly latin name, but who cares. We are doing it to be silly. It's just a frigging game!

And that brings me to today. I have a doctor's appointment at 3:15, so I get to leave work early. Yay! The mortgage business is on the decline, so I have ample time at work to update my resume. The idea came to update my resume came to me after I was mocked by a bitchface borrower. Yup, she mocked the way I talked. Not cool.

Brian wants to see The Dark Knight tonight, but I don't know if I'm in the mood. I do have to get to work at a decent time tomorrow to make up my leaving 2 hours early. We'll see what happens.

weekend, drama, life
