so far, a beatific day.
so far today has been great because it's my first of two days off in a row, and i haven't really done anything! feels good.
i woke up with ben at 11 and made whole wheat oat and honey pancakes (ok they were from a box), which we ate for breakfast with raw honey and peanut butter and blueberries and full fat greek yogurt (i worship the stuff). it started raining hard last night and hasn't stopped. it made me sleep like a blissful baby, and now is making me feel deliciously lazy.
last night i went to a party at zach's. i told him again that he has the same birthday as my little brother, and i don't think he liked it. it wasn't really my scene but lovely sadie was there. then again, she said she was replacing me and ben with summer thyme and zach as best friends. psh. sadie ray, we love you and you know it.
i am meeting my potential new roommate today over beers. he apparently wants to move out of his current apartment because his roommate there is, uh, his girlfriend and it's too stressful. hmmm. supposedly, he would move in pretty soon. weird. i am anxious to meet him and judge whether or not he seems like a rapist or the type that would have a crazy bitch as a girlfriend. i guess it happens to the best of us, though.
i just talked on the phone with mathieu who is living outside of chapel hill with hana. he sounds so happy. i'm glad. i would like to visit them because i love them, and also to experience vicariously that idyllic life.
btw, have i mentioned i like grizzly bear. ben and i stayed up until almost four o'clock listening to all the songs i have, among other things.
