school teacher let me get my grradez
man i have lucked out. last thursday we had this paper due for cynthia, which i did not write. i completely forgot it, then skipped class because it was beautiful outside (i am a fuck-up sometimes). but chuck subbed that day, and didn't even take them up. so they were due today. but then we didn't get around to discussing them, so she is taking them up on thursday. o, wonderful luck.
yesterday consisted of:
waking up and going to badminton (which is great because my partner Jaime loves girl talk and gives me advice, even if it is sometimes terrible)
then working for three hours
then spending an hour in Health Services where i was prescribed two antibiotics and a hefty dose of anxiety
then hurrying back to work again (by now i was starving)
then going to Math Lab for two hours only to find that Cody had cut off his rattail (DISAPPOINTING).
but here is a picture of my friend Sadie on the day she and i were dyeing eggs.
things really aren't too shabby these days. this semester is almost over and so far i have been quite pleased with it. plus it's getting warm outside. there's a lot to be happy about.
last night ben and i stayed up talking about various things. i like debating with him, even if it gets frustrating because we decide to completely disagree. i can admit that a lot of what i say is kind of crap in some ways. in my mind, i make myself out to be this ruthlessly self-interested person (i don't know why i prefer this. probably because i spent a lot of my life as a fucking doormat, in relationships at least.) and sometimes maybe i am. but i care about people toooooo, i promise. i feel like i'm moving towards a healthy medium in this area. i like to think it's just taken a little strong-arming.
oh yeah, i have a dentist appointment tomorrow, which reminds me! my mom pays my dental bills. MOM I LOVE YOU. since we don't have insurance, that is a lot of money i would otherwise have to pay myself. especially these days since i've had about 4 cavities filled in the past three months :D so THANKS, MAMA!
