i think the buckeye that Will gave me yesterday really helped out. today was much better - busy and exciting.
got up bright and early with Will. then drank/made coffee, studied, and wrote essays fervently until 2pm.
then i went to Spanish and Deiffel let me watch Shakira music videos - instead of studying the subjunctive - the whole time. mostly, i watched this one on repeat. like i'm doing now. it's way more bad ass in spanish, which i'm glad i had the opportunity to find out today. shakira is so hot.
then, sufficiently jacked, i went to Comparative Revolutions, which is always fun for me, even if Bortz does say a lot of crap. i still like him, he's adorable.
the first draft of our papers is due on the 18th. holy fuck. but the actual paper isn't due until Dec 4th. which is good because it is worth "111%" of our grade. and he is one of those professors who is a firm believer in C as Average, so basically, i will be satisfied with a C and ecstatic to receive a B. and that's weird to say because i cried when i got a C+ in Geology last Fall.
granted, i'm also a worse student now since i decided i just want to be a hairstylist...
and then i voted. yay.
and now i'm done with school until next tuesday! and i'm making cookies or something with Anna, Kristen, Ben, Will tonight! and Taco Tuesday at Boone Saloon! que alegria!
