(no subject)
Hello, hello, it's another eljay post from me! I find I'm posting at a greater frequency than before - it must be due to my new hobby of pretending to be a hamburger-flipping, marshmallow-eating, ass-whooping superhero of sorts (A POWER RANGE, MAYBE?). But you know I'm lying when I say such things, so I'll just tell you that I've been out with the fantabulous _niji_ayu. Of course there are food photos!
The photo above is of _niji_ayu's drink - I think it's red ceylon tea mixed with 7-Up? Or was it a red, fruity tea? I honestly can't remember. :( The waiter was of the quiet sort.
My green tea mojito...minus the rum and the club soda, and with the addition of green tea. There's green tea, mint leaves, a little bit of sugar and lime juice in there. Quite satisfying, especially on a humid summer's day.
_niji_ayu's cream of broccoli soup. A nice bowl of nice soup. VARY NOYCE!
_niji_ayu's stuff always came first. This is her turkey and cheese wrap with green salad on the side...
...and this is my crabmeat ciabatta. How dare they have bias against those that order a la carte! I shake my fist at you, waiter!
Then we went shopping because we're ladies and we like to spend our money on things we don't need.
Chocolate and green tea gelato at XTC on Ice. It's a dreadful combination, but I really wanted to try the green tea (which wasn't fab). _niji_ayu and I are in mutual agreement that chocolate gelato is badass.
From my food posts, there is a high likelihood that you think I eat glamourously every single day. You are very wrong, my friend. I eat what I consider to be good food, but you'd probably think it's not very good.
This is an example of a basic meal - although there's usually more dishes. My parents and my sister didn't come back for dinner so it was just me :( . On the left we have a soup with vegetables and minced fish meat. On the right there's half of steamed pomfret (BIG POMFRET TOO) and some steamed bak choi. I guess it's very plain tonight - it isn't usually this boring.
Pomfret's so expensive. My father said that when he was small, pomfret was super cheap. What happened?! D:
The night before results day, I stared at the ceiling of my bedroom and thought about a lot of things. What would I do if I didn't make my LSE offer? What would I do if I did? What would I get exactly on my exam slip? To make myself feel better, I promised that:
1. If I meet my offer, I shall have a cream puff.
2. If I get all A's, I shall buy myself an expensive wallet.
And what did you know. 'lo and behold, the mighty Vivienne Westwood!
OH EVEN THE BOX GLOWS. I LOVE THIS STUFF.
I LOVE IT. But this photo does no justice to the real thing and that makes me mad. >:( It's much prettier in real life, I say.
Vivienne Westwood's on sale, but I shan't buy any more.
