Welcome to the final segment of the report, which is chocked full of photos as the previous two parts. Photos, photos! We may have liked photos as much as we liked cake last time, but now we like photos as much as we like chocolate! Or as Marjorie Dawes spells it, "CHOCLIT."
Part 3: Loen (Norway) - Lillehammer (Norway) - Oslo (Norway) - Copenhagen (Denmark)
To be honest, I can't remember which spot was where exactly because of my shitty memory (which isn't so shit under normal circumstances). I will do my best, but if you visit the places and don't find the specific spots, well...er, you know I've messed up real time.
More fun at more glaciers! Wahey! While most other tourists walked to the site of the glacier, we got to ride 4-wheel-drives. Yes, I found it fun. No, I'm not as easily amused as it may seem!
We're getting closer...
...and even closer...
...quite close now.
The ice was rather dirty. :(
On the way back to the carpark.
You can't get enough of waterfalls.
There were a lot of rainbows on that day. Can you see two rainbows in the pic on the right? DOUBLE-RAINBOW, MAN.
More fjords, and a rather scary looking troll. They like their trolls in Norway.
Then I can't remember what quite happened apart from there being a lot of travelling. Next: Oslo. The first scenic spot we went to was the
Vigeland Sculpture Park. As the name suggests, it's a park full of Gustav Vigeland's sculptures. His sculptures celebrate the human body and emotions in their purest form.
Then to the
Viking Ship Museum in Oslo.
Then we took a ferry to Copenhagen.
Look! The moon! It was a lot more impressive in real life.
Then hello, Copenhagen.
Little Mermaid Statue, and Hans Christian Andersen's flash-frozen body encased within a metal shell.*
*Of course not.
I can't remember where this was! :(
Inside a palace of sorts, but again, I can't remember.
GREAT GOING, ME. NOT REMEMBERING THINGS. SHOULD'VE WROTE IT DOWN, NUH.
NICE CEILINGS, THOUGH.
Then you must know, that I didn't really enjoy Copenhagen or Oslo all that much, as they were a bit boring in comparison to Helsinki and Stockholm. Hence everything starts with 'then.' Or maybe I'm just feeling really lazy right now and I can't be bothered to admit it, although I have hinted it to you already. slkdfhksghdfgjhsfkjshfkjsdhkfjhsd THE END!
At the request of
etsu, here is a photographic insight of the sort of things I ate everyday on the trip:
Terry's Chocolate Orange™ is a unique shaped ball made with real orange oil. Just tap and unwrap to reveal 20 delicious orange segments.
I've always wanted to try one. I shall have one when I go to London, if I make my offer. WHAT, RESULTS DAY ON THURSDAY, WHAT NO SLEEP FOR ME
Edit: Haha, I just realized that the wrapper of the chocolate orange pic I posted doesn't say "Terry's." Surely, Terry's version would look no different?
