Today in browsing my favorite blogs I came across a really good article from a professional career coach. Today , as the end of 2009 she encourages everyone to list their 3 top 10 lists.
These lists are as follows:
- Top 10 professional accomplishments of 2009
- Top 10 personal accomplishments of 2009
- Top 10 happiness inducing activities (yes this can be a random free flowing list!)
I really liked the concept so I tried the excercise. Which I have to say- the professional accomplishments I didn't even make 10 of them this year. Largely due to the face that I have been out of work for the majority of the year. But the rest were really fun to do.
So I am passing this idea along to you. If you like make your own lists and post/repost as you see fit.
As for me- my results are under the cut.
Happy New Year Everyone
Top prfessional accomplishments.

Started my own marketing/ business solutions consulting firm
Acquired my very first client
Built a very basic website for my firm on my own. (Yes I know I will have to upgrade but for now having something up and having the domain name is the most important thing.)

Becoming engaged to and marrying my best friend.
Going to the gym more this year than I have in years past- and more consistently

Reconnecting with Mic & Brian- I missed them
Spending more time with Bernie & Becky this year.
Getting to know new people- Jesci, Jenn, and Kym- they have reminded me that good, funny people still do exist- and I love hanging out with them.
Learning that I really do need to slow down, take a breath and think.
Learning to admit I was wrong - whether in public or in private- and to take the defeat gracefully

Top 10 happiness-inducing activities..
Read more books this year than EVER- and loved/ reveled in every page & minute of it!
Having my wedding dress @ my first fitting (when I shimmied in it a little to illustrate that it was loose) fall from my chest to almost my waist - it was that loose!
Summer Rock Band Sessions @ Fraps with the crew- good times had by all.
Getting to know and become friends with Jesci.
Bringing Frisky to Jesci's school rooms and teaching little kids about bunnies- how they behave, what they like to eat, how they play.
Watching Jesci's classrooms pet Frisky- Frisky loved it and the kids were just in awe to have a live rabbit in the room, and love the fact that she was cute/ soft.
Just being with Scott more - yeah I know uber sappy- but I like having more time with him. I like knowing that a little thing- like making fresh pasta sauce one night, can make him smile after a long day.
Getting to see a lot of Erica this year due to wedding activities. I loved it and laughed a hell of a lot thanks to her!
Traveling - did a lot due to wedding prep but also traveled a lot personally this year: Virginia/Washington DC, Wellfleet MA, Saratoga NY, Brooklyn NY, NYC Shopping trips, and Oquiquit ME.
Officially being a MRS..... no that's not true. Being officially SCOTT's MRS!!!!!! That was a HUGE spike in the happiness factor!
