ROAD TRIP!
Sunday this first full day of vacation.
Cat & Frap headed off to Frap's grandparents place in MD for a visit, while Jeff Scott and I fended for ourselves.
This meant mostly being lazy in the morning and then driving all around the surrounding towns getting blissfully lost.
It also meant we were to fend for dinner for ourselves.
So when we were hungry we decided to stop at this little roadside cafe
Given the fact that the sign and exterior spoke to us of a 50's diner that is what we were expecting.
When we got inside we got an artsy cajun inspired place.... With really good food!
The boys got the joints hand crafted burgers while I got the steak quesidillas (made with black bean salsa.)
We all agreed the food was suprisingly good, and visually appealing. My meal is below.
So if the rest of the food is like this on the trip ( hidden jems) I am really looking forward to eating out more!
