I'm afraid I won't do this topic justice since I'm so tired. Vacations are draining (haha).
I have one older sibling, a sister named Kristen. She's about three years older, and we're close now that we're older. We had a lot of conflict when we were teenagers, but I'm not sure why. We're both stubborn and assertive. We're both terrible drivers, and we love to read. She's quiet (very shy growing up but less so now) and private. She's mischievous, funny and obnoxious. She is relentless. If she sees a weaknesses in terms of teasing, she's like a bulldog. But she can also be thoughtful and kind. She likes to play games and do puzzles. Growing up she often cheated to win, but she says she doesn't cheat anymore. She has a better sense of style than I and can do make up and other girly things. She's shorter and smaller and often mistaken for the younger sister. We tease our mom together and our husbands and each other.
Kristen's bachelor degree is from FSU in Art History. She went back to UNF to get her teacher's certification. She taught fifth grade reading to inner-city students in Jacksonville and loved it. She really connected with her kids. She recently moved because her husband began law school and teaches fifth grade in a rural community now. She prefers the inner-city kids because they are tougher and take teasing better. She says rural fifth graders are babyish.
Kristen divorced her first husband less than two years after they married when she learned he was having an affair. My parents and I suspected she was unhappy, but she didn't confide in us despite our inquiries. She appreciated our help and support when she was working through the divorce, though. She was really vulnerable and did a lot of soul searching to understand what happened. She married her second husband, Chris, about a year and a half after her divorce.
Kristen has Crohn's disease and some other health issues. So I worry about her.
Kristen's great with Coco and Art. She loves to play with Coco and teach her to say funny things like "Mommy's too bossy." She taught Coco to tackle and gives her great books. She makes great funny faces and loves tickling Art and making him smile.
I'm proud of my sister and love her very much. We're pretty different, but I wouldn't trade her for anyone else.

Then all his brothers and all his sisters and all who had known him before came to him, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversities that the LORD had brought on him. And each one gave him one piece of money, and each a ring of gold. (Job 42:11)
