We all fall in love sometimes
Tonight, on my way back from Canal Room,
(Which was quite a scene let me tell you,
I think Scarlet Johanson was there)
I watched a girl named Minerva make an unwise decision.
It was pretty cool.
It's easy to hide behind things you just have to do.
Or things you should (or, maybe, shouldn't be doing)
And foresake a good time for a rational explation.
But I take drugs to counteract drugs.
And my theory is:
Don't we all try to die,
At least once in our pointless lives?
I lose thoughts easily these days.
I can only conclude that:

Maybe that "you" is proverbial
Maybe Shakespeare didn't write all those lovely sonnets to any boy or girl
But to someone in the past or future tense
That never did or will happen
Because dreaming is easy
Waking up is next to impossible
And there is no middle ground on that one.
