(no subject)
Well I'm back, it was awesome. Saw all my second cousins and all that. Christmas was especially cool because it was just direct descendents of little nana and big grandad, i.e aunty, cousins and their children. Which still amounts to 25 or so people but I knew them all.
Central Otago was absolutly beautiful, I cant emphasise how much prettier than up here, you guys really must see it one day. A good way is through the rail trail actually which is a few days long-you cycle it, we did a bit of it while we were there and it is stunning. In winter it would be spectacular but you would get bloody cold!
Climbed mount Ida, when we got to the top there are a few jars with peoples names in it, one of the first bits of paper I pulled out (If not THE first) was the one with mum and dads names on it dated 16 years ago nearly to the day-they went up on the 26th of december, we went up the 27th.
So that was pretty awesome.
Daves going tommorrow :( I cant even text him for the week he is away which sucks.
Haha I saw Steve from NZ Idol-he was on my flight and on the way back we saw Dom from Shorty St. Celebrities oooh.
Dave bought me pink roses (in different shades) just spontaneously. Like wow. So bloody sweet :)
