Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Have you read Bee's fic? Because if not, you definitely should -- it gives us the next part of Kara's journey, from Zak's POV and it's wonderful.

And can I just say... I've had to spend the last minute or so staring at Tahmoh's eyes in your icon. Oh Battlestar boys, you're all so pretty.....

I have read Bee's Full Circle, but not this one yet. They do, indeed, make a fine pairing. The under layer of that whole scene is so poignant and just leaves me aching for both of them, every time. You do it justice.

Thanks so much. That scene really does just make you ache, and I wanted to try to get into Kara's head there a little bit. She's hard to read in that scene. I'm glad you liked what I wrote for her.

I think it's hard to do anything with that scene and have it not be sad, but I tried to make sure it wasn't *too* depressing.

I think the depressing part is WE all knew that was a great setup for a beginnign for them. A clean slate but alas it wasn't what some people thought. A missed chance, a missed opportunity, a bypassed lifetime.

This is the moment in canon that made me start writing fanfic in the first place. I hated it so much.
