i had this past weekend off.
estrella and i took off after dinner friday night and headed south. i dropped her off, got lost, and finally arrived in palo alto around 12:30 (which when you go to bed at 10 is pretty late). i was totally whacked out and nearly manic with lack of sleep and two weeks of hard work behind me. he just looked stunned that i had showed up at his door. and so began the most amazing weekend of... just being. the beat-up old car i borrowed added to the crazy romantic adventure feel of it all...
i'm totally entralled.
there's this part of him that is so california. he belongs out here.
camp is good though, and by this afternoon i was catching up wiht people i havn't seen for a year or two, and that's just amazing. had a good talk with john and kelly about what they expect from me as assistant director and all that. i feel really good about this summer.
i miss the hampshire crew though. calling this weekend was good, but i miss you guys.
