i could understand your reply a little better if i had said, hell, "world peace," but i didn't. peace is possible. and that isn't optimistism, it's a "realistic view."
just because something isn't easily within reach doesn't mean you should quit wishing for it. it means you have to work for it.
it's what he thinks he's doing. in actuality, though, there's a difference between working for something and fighting/murdering for it, don't you think?
and peace is possible, just in small amounts.
world peace would require something along the lines of everyone in the world agreeing on everything, or at least everyone agreeing to disagree. do you see that ever happening? do you know of a way to please everyone in the world?
besides that i'd sound like a naive contestant for miss america if i ran around crying for world peace...
