Thanks for commenting :) You sound familiar although i kind of tried avoiding people and kept somewhat to myself in high school. Yeah, i'm out of sight now. After freshman year at enloe i started homeschooling and skipped a year. So i'm about to be a senior as well. I really like your journal layout too :) -meredith
wow. no offense or anything, but i'd never homeschool or skip a year. maybe i'm just a total geek, but i'd rather have the whole high school experience than cut it short, etc. okay, yeah. i am a total geek. whatever, then, i guess. where are you "about to be a senior"? and thanks: i'm not sure i really like my layout, but it's good enough to stay for now. xox britt ps--i'm pretty much a loner so it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't really remember me. maybe a picture would help, but maybe not because i had brownish/blonde hair down to my shoulders for most of the year you went to enloe. i have a few in my journal behind lj-cuts, though. i'll add you. :)
Nono, i should be a junior, for i just finished sophmore year as a home-school kid. I did 11th grade testing though, and passed, therefore i am about to start senior year. I think i misunderstood what you said about your grade? You're a senior or are you done?
Oh yeah, i was trying to think of who it might be and you popped in my head then i saw some of your old pics and was like, "No way!" I always thought you were so cute in high school :-x
yes, i'm a senior. what are you doing for your senior year? i mean, are you sticking with homeschooling, or going back to enloe, or another school? sorry. i ask a lot of questions...
oh, really? wow, excuse my blushing.. i always liked your.. style, i guess. you always seemed to be doing your own thing instead of following others, which is unfortunately rare in high school. i respected that. still do, actually.
I gonna stick with homeschool. Some states (nc is one) allow homeschool highschool-level kids to take community college courses. So if everything goes through, i may be starting at Wake Tech come fall semester. It's a good opportunity, getting a year of college and credits while i'm still in highschool. Riht now i'm i think i'm on a firm ground as far as what i'm taking, which will most likey be welding.
Thank you very much, that just put a smile on my face :D That may be one of the reasons i left. Who knows. Not that i strived for any sort of acceptance, because quite frankly, i have absoutely no problem with solitude. But Enloe was getting me nowhere (aside from the English class i took) and was just in all, exhausting. Everyone i encountered had a set opinion about me, regardless if i proved them wrong throughout the year. It was bullshit. I grew tired... and bored :-/
