I know, but my aim was to work in France because my French is sorely in need of improvement (such are the drawbacks of a language degree). Sorry, but thanks anyway for the suggestion.

I hope not. Besides, I nearly live on the Ramsden Estate, which I think is probably worse than Dartford.
