Busy Bee
Today was the first day of my internship. After getting lost twice and calling my boss to make a joke about it, I finally made it there in about an hour.

I LOVE IT
So, everyone has their own markers of success and goals, right? My markers of a "real job" = own desk, salaried position, making your age X 1,000 at the very minimum, benefits. I wanted to have all of this within a year of graduating. Well... it's been a year and a month and I now make my age X 1,000 and have benefits at the Don. AND NOW I have my own desk AND computer AND cubicle AND filing cabinets, etc at my internship!!! It's so exciting to have my own space and my own projects.
Today I filled out my paperwork, got the tours, met some new people, created a database for tracking the use of Alcohol Permits (because each Non Profit is only allowed to pull 3 each year), and did TShirt pricing.
This week's Schedule.
Today = 9-6:30 Internship, clean, eat, craft, sleep.
Tomorrow = 8:30 Star of the Month Breakfast at the Don.
10:00-6:30 Internship
Wednesday = 9-1PM Internship
3-11 Don CeSar
Thursday = 3-11 Don CeSar
This is what the next three months of my life are going to look like.
