Dear Yuletide Author 2014
Hi! I'm so excited to receive something from you :))
Here are my standard things I say every year:
Things I’m never into: death fic (unless it’s in the canon source material), dub/non-con, darkfic, unhappy endings (unless it’s in the canon source material)
Things I don’t necessarily gravitate towards except on occasion: bdsm
Things I’m into always: dirty talk, phone sex, pining, romance, happy endings, makeouts, wall sex, smoking up.
Also note: I'm totally okay with pwp's.

Here’s what I said during my sign-up and I’ll comment on each. But as always remember you’re not bound by anything here! If you have a specific idea of your own, please run with it!
1. Adventureland RPF - Kristen Stewart/Jesse Eisenberg
I said: Honestly, yuletide writer, I don't care what you give me. I'm the only person who's ever written this pairing and all I want is someone to write it for me. So if you like the adorable awkwardness between these two, I'd love for you to show me that. The only thing I really ask is that it have a happy ending.
Additional suggestions: You could do something canon set during Adventureland -- Kstew was pretty damn young when they filmed it (fall 2007), long before twilight even though it came out after. You could do something set around their new film they just shot together: American Ultra. You could do an AU. I seriously will not care at all.
I adore meet-cutes and grand jestures and stupid Cameron Crowe-esque 80's type romance. BUT HONESTLY IF I GET ANYTHING WITH THESE TWO YOU WILL MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST PANDA AROUND.

2. Jack & Diane (2012) - Jack/Diane
I said: Another instance in which I just want someone to write me these two. I didn't love this movie, yet I couldn't stop thinking about this movie, if that makes sense? I'm essentially obsessed with the relationship between these two in it.
Additional suggestions: If I am lucky enough for you to write me something I'd prefer you stray away from actual werewolves and look at it more as the way the film intended -- which was a metaphor, essentially, for falling in love and what it can do to you. I'd really love either a missing scene or a coda or even a 'years later' type thing. You aren't bound by a happy ending for this one, but if you could give them one, that'd be cool. But most of all, I just care about the realistic exploration of life and romance and age and relationships.

3. The Conjuring - Brad/Drew
I said: I'm just so happy to see this fandom requested! I did it myself last year and never thought I'd see it on here again. Um, not to sound like a broken record or anything but-- LITERALLY ANYTHING.
Additional suggestions: With these two I've been obsessed with the idea of first dates, like, bonding over the things they have in common while being fiery over the things they don't. Bonus for awesome music references bc the 60s-70s :) But seriously, anything.
4. New York Rangers RPF - Ryan McDonagh/Derek Stepan
I said: So with these two I've had a strong desire for soulbond fic, if that is something you are so inclined to. If you know about them, then you know they've been playing together foreverrrrr. I don't care if it's in canon or an AU but SOULBONDS!! THEM!! That'd be my first choice, if I had to pick. But by all means, PLEASE DO YOUR THING. I swear I'll be happy.
Additional suggestions: No seriously, anything. I mean that. You could literally write anything and I'd be happy. As long as it ends happily, I'm cool. And again, I’m fine with in-canon or AU, past or present. Mactruck is now Captain. That could be fun to explore. I'd love a lot of team-centric stuff, too. As these are my babies :))
5. The Runaways (2010) RPF - Kristen Stewart/Dakota Fanning
I said: Canon, AU, future-fic, past. Whatever you want. Seriously. Please do mind the age-gap, though, if you're doing something in-canon and past and juggle that appropriately. Thank you.
Additional suggestions: They hung out together recently after KStew's Forum Film Q&A at NYU -- where Dakota happens to go to school. So, you know, you could do that. Or not. You could do an AU or a future fic. I am honestly very, very easy to please. Essentially as long as things have happy endings then I myself am happy.

6. Figure Skating RPF - Meryl Davis/Charle White
I said: ANYTHING as long as it ends happy. Canon, AU, whatever. Would please prefer no cheating and no demonizing of female characters.
Additional suggestions: Once again you're seeing I am a broken record here in terms of happy endings, lol. And to specific the above: I really love the relationship between Tanith, Charlie and Meryl so if you’re going to keep it in canon, please do not demonize her and please do not include active, intentional cheating. I’m fine if you want to make things AU in which they’ve never been together or whatever or if you want to keep it as is, but yeah, please be mindful of that. Thank you.
