[The SFC decides to share with Vatheon a bird's eye view of the plaza covered in snow. Gorgeous, right? Thank Jack who is currently doing his standing on the edge of a tall building thing. He feels fine, he swears

[Jack's slight movement catches his eye as he's walking below and he stops, tilting his head thoughtfully. While he's oddly relieved to see more people who don't think sitting on roofs is bizarre behavior at all, it has been snowing, and it could be icy...]
Excuse me. [Calling up politely as he eyes the side of the building, trying to think how he'd scale it. Not being able to fly anymore is inconvenient.] Do you need help getting down?
[Shingo's eyes narrow a little thoughtfully before he ducks slightly and jumps, stretching long limbs to catch the fire escape and pull himself up, scaling the building and clambering carefully onto the roof. Up close, he should look very familiar, though his clothes and hairstyle and facial expression are far milder than Jack is used to seeing. He brushes snow off his clothes and walks toward Jack, looking perfectly at home on the roof but choosing his footing carefully.]
I was worried it might not be safe, after the snow, but it seems all right. [He smiles, his brown eyes warm.] Do you spend a lot of time on roofs? If you don't mind me asking.
We're not quite sure how it worked, besides this place taking me from a different time. And, Ankh can detach himself--it's when he's just an arm--but I was sort of, hm. [He fishes briefly for a delicate way to put this, and gives up after a moment.] Dying, for a while, and him possessing me was the only thing keeping my body from failing completely, so he didn't leave very often. On top of the fact that being a floating disembodied arm was inconvenient, at best. But if he wasn't possessing me I'd've been slumped unconscious somewhere, and I can't imagine I would have been terribly interesting.
I only saw his arm-form once, and then, I guess, he repossessed your body in the middle of our conversation. I think something his.....whatever he wants to call the man who's 'not' his boyfriend and him had some sort of fight and he was protesting.
You know, it's interesting. Even if there wasn't the distinct hair-style difference, I think I'd be able to tell you two apart pretty easily. What you two do with the face you share is completely different.
[Yep, he finds all this to be completely fascinating.]
He dresses better than I do, too. [Comfortably, grinning a little.]
I can't imagine that people would mix us up, though it's true that nobody's really had any opportunity before now. [Except for that one time where Ankh sort of ostensibly tried to choke him, but he's too polite to talk about that, and it's not like Ankh actually meant it, anyway. You know, probably. He chokes slightly at this description of Eiji, however, and muffles a laugh.] He and Eiji-kun spend most of their time fighting, I think. It's comfortable for them.
[He looks briefly, fondly reminiscent before he straightens a little, his eyes widening and his cheeks going slightly pink.] Ah, I'm sorry, all this time and I completely forgot to introduce myself. [He bows slightly, keeping his footing firmly on the roof as he shifts.] My name is Shingo Izumi.
[Shingo would notice the smirk, but he's too busy being distracted the instant he hears Jack's name, his face lighting with comprehension.]
Oh. Then you're Jack. [His eyes narrow with sharp interest, but his voice is warm.] I'm glad to see you're feeling better, in that case. Ankh was worried about you.
Well, when he dropped his SFC, tore out of the house and took off three steps out the door, I went a bit out of my way to ask for an explanation once he got back.
[Shingo tilts his head, still looking curious.]
I've only ever seen him get that worked up over Eiji-kun and my sister. [His smile broadens reassuringly, but his eyes are intent on Jack's face.] ...he likes you.
[If he were watching carefully, he might notice the faint blush that flashes across his face before he can have a chance to school his expression back to a smirk.]
Well, I like to think I'm a...relatively easy guy to get along with...most of the time.
[Shingo shakes his head, looking deeply entertained.]
Ankh isn't the sort of person who'll like you just because you're easy to get along with.
[He watches Jack for another moment before backing off and smiling a little. And he doesn't dispute Jack's point.]
Well, either way, I'm... glad. He didn't exactly have an overabundance of people he cared about, when we were at home. It's good to see him have a friend.

Thanks, but, I like it up here. It has a good view of everything. You could always join me though, I wouldn't say no to the company.
[As long as it wasn't one of his overprotective 'nannies' looking out for his well being, he'd more than appreciate someone to enjoy the view with.]

Yeah...I do...
You know, you look a lot like someone I know. Don't suppose you know a pretty guy named Ankh? Look just like him.
[Have a subtle flirt~]

He's the other person I know who spends a lot of time on rooftops. [He grins a little, comfortably.] It's my body he's possessing right now.

And yet you're here too? Or is this what happens when he changes forms and I just hadn't run into you yet?

[Jack smiles and gives a small bow back.]
It's a pleasure to meet you, Shingo. My name's Captain Jack Harkness.
[His smile turns back into more of a cheeky smirk.]
I'm always happy to meet a new pretty face, even if it's a face I already know.

Yeah...he found me when I was in a bad spot. Helped me to the hospital; I'm all right now.
Didn't realize he talked about me.

How long have you been in the city, Shingo? I'm disappointed I haven't met you before now.
