so my room mate chris started playing God of War 1 a couple weeks ago. Last night he got to the final boss but wasn't able to make it past phase 2. I explained to him that the game consistantly crashed out in phase 3 cause of my PS2 and then had an idea...
Unlike a year ago or so when i did this last, i now have friends around here who also have PS2s, and since the crash has been traced to hardware issues with my slim PS2 i asked one of the guys at work to let me borrow his PS2 so Chris can beat the game without the bug.
Well i just got home from work and figured i'd "test" it to make sure the bug wasn't present. I started up my old save right before Ares and 20 minutes or so later I can finally say I beat the game on normal :P (had to go to easy to beat him last time by a key attack which almost always induced the bug). Gotta love those little things :)
