House!!!
Holy Crap, House..
My heart hurts. It hurts so very much right now!
What an absolutely fantastic episode!! In fact, all the episodes since the writers strike have been made of win!!! I can't rave enough about House at this point!!
Yeah, I spoiled the story line for myself reading everyone else's rants... But if I didn't, I actually think I'd be dead, or at the very least bawling my eyes out right about now! As is, I still needed loads of tissues.
The bit that got me the most was House/Amber on the bus again at the very end. Wilson is going to hate/blame House!!! Even though he's the rational kind of guy that would realise that there is no point in placing the blame, because it was really a freak accident that cause it all, still... House was the reason she left their apartment in the first place!! I have a feeling there is going to be a whole lot of what if-ing going on next season! It just breaks my heart all over again when House is saying that he doesn't want Wilson to hate him... because seriously... what the hell else does he have!! Sure, him saying about always being in pain and stuff is sad, but not having Wilson anymore as a reason not to go back... MAN that tugs the heart strings.
Wilson!! WILSON! (cries out like Tom Hanks on Castaway)
Oh man, the guy just needs a billion hugs. RSL did such a FANTASTIC job!! Torn between the needing to save Amber and trying to keep a lid on blaming House (imo). Next season, bring on the blame/guilt. Man this is gonna be good!!
Only 'happy' part of the episode, the House/Cuddy scenes. The right amount of them for an episode like this, which totally belongs to House & Wilson. The end vision of her asleep in the chair and holding his hand... and him letting her. OH boy, bring on Season 5!! I'm really excited to see if they develop the friendship between the two of them, now that House/Wilson are going to be on the rocks. I love seeing House/Cuddy any time, especially in scenes that are actually emotional and not just about sexual tension (which is made of awesome also, fyi).
ANYWAY, I'm not sure how coherent that was... but I completely needed to flail a little about this episode, because, seriously... awesome.
p.s. for any of you keeping score. I DO have a 12 of 12 to post this month, possibly shall do that later tonight while I procrastinate some assignment-ing
