i love pizza
and i hold the ninja turtles responsible for this
i can't watch any one of the movies
and not crave a nice hot pizza pie
something i love even more than pizza
is the 45 minute wait
tingling with anticipation
because i know that something good is on the way
i could easily make a frozen pizza
or walk down to the cafeteria and get a slice or two
but it's not the same feeling
i think this applies to many things in life
and when i get down, i just have to find something to look forward to
and we all have so much to look forward to
whatever this life is, we are in it together
i can't say that i have any clue what comes next
but i'd like to think that we will be more than in it together
i think we will be together in a sense
as one with the universe
it's just a feeling that i can't explain or understand
because this life is such a mystery
and i expect just the opposite after this
for now
as long as i know that i will give my love tomorrow
and that i will be loved tomorrow
something good is always going to be on the way
