Getting Closer!
OK, this is mostly all spoilery for the episode so it's behind a cut.
Well...I think it's safe to say I didn't see that episode coming.
First things first OMG they killed Bennett! My three favorite characters got such a raw deal in this episode. Bennet got shot, Saunders shot her/is crazy or something, Topher finally found a human connection and then had it ripped away from him! Had a little bit of a flashback to Seeing Red in that scene.I'm quite saddened by this deveopment. I really wish things had turned out better for these guys. Although it did make for some epic mind-boggling twists.
Also, Boyd as the leader of Rossum! WTF! That's so screwed up! I like what they're done there though. Throughout the whole show we, the viewers, have been conditioned to love and trust Boyd, just like Echo does. I think that's why no one saw it coming, even though Boyd really was the only option. It's a good move though, it'll help the audience understand what Echo's dealing with when she discovers it.
So I'm thinking we didn't see any of Alpha this episode. Is he going to come down on Rossum's side or the LA Dollhouse's? I'm thinking there might be a big flip in which we see Alpha working with Adelle/Echo/Topher and Co. against Rossum. That's just a theory though. Who knows? His whole existance could have just been manufacured by Rossum/Boyd. Also, it was never really answered as to who stole the Caroline wedge. I'm thinking Boyd, but it could have just as easily been Alpha.
I just hope Saunders ends up being a good guy. It'd also be nice if she could maybe help Topher feel better aswell.
