i'm a snob. i read it before it was on oprah's book list. i enjoyed it, but it's not everyone's cup of tea.

you think you love this person. but really, do you know what it means to love someone. to trully and selflessly love someone?? i think you really have no idea. if you knew her at all you would know that the thing she wants most from you is to make her feel taken care of and that she has your support. but, instead, you cant seem to ever step outside yourself. you're right, she cant possibly understand how it feels to be in your shoes, bc you are only concerned with how you feel, and now how you make others feel.
