So, I've been into bicycling a lot lately. It is weird, I was dropping my mom and bro off at the airport so they could go to Colorado and my car to a shit on me. Yes, my car physically pooped on top of me. Not really actually but it broke. So I was limping it back down highway 99 avoiding freeways and stopping frequently to let it cool down and get back to normal somewhat. Anyway, I was thinking how much I hate having to pay for gas, for insurance, and to keep fixing my car so I decided it was back to taking the bus or maybe riding a bike. It was just a tickle in my brain really until I was at Bartel's looking for something to drink and a sidoku book or something to keep me busy when I came across a Bicycling Magazine which had an article titled "Your next bike." It seemed like a sure shot sign from God so I bought it and it wasn't really a beginners guide to buying a bike. What the article did was reviewed a few styles and listed their pros and cons which really helped me decide on getting a road bike.
So for the next few days I did some research on the internet to find out what was what. The on that Tuesday Tom took me to Performance bikes and I saw a few that I liked and I saw the Schwinn that I wanted. I was debating either a Schwinn or Fuji but the friendly people at Performance took my road conditions, skill level, uses, and price range into consideration and showed me either another bike but really it was all about the Schwinn.
This is it.
I love it. It might not be the best bike out there or whatever but its mine. For some reason it is very sentimental. It's my first bike and I feel like this may be the beginning to new part of my life? I don't know, maybe it really is just a new toy but I love it. I've ridden everyday except Friday because I haven't had time.
Anyway, what else. Oh yea I've got some new tattoos. Well, I have two more x's with a peace sign and a music note in them. I'm still working out what else to do with it but its all kind of just going with the flow really.
Anyhooot. Hey guys lets go ride bikes! It is fun! So far Tom and Garth are the only ones I have ridden with. Lets change that. Give me a call
